i bought a used one and can not get the temperature to 29 celsius . always too hot to bake my croissant shaped and the butter melt then inside?

Hi, I bought one but the door has a white plastic inside and outside in the door that does not let me see my bread when it is ready I can remove it or not
and every time when I open the door too see my bread is ready the temperature goes down a lot
