As you no doubt know there will be a long slog to full recovery- and it's not always a straight line. Also good to hear about the new state of the art hospital, Asia Pacific Medical Center, which is owned by an American investment group, Bain Capital. I hope that the prices does not take advantage of the general public like how it is here in the US.

Now that we have one win under our belt, the race is on for a complete victory in 2024; so in the words of Dazel, "lets go". Congratulations. Just like you. I am a natural-born Filipino holding dual citizenship. I served in the US Marine Corps for 20 years. I have been fully retired in the Philippines for 27 years. 7 years ago. I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. I used Tricare insurance to be treated at Makati Medical Center Oncology Department. I have been cancer free now for 7 years and 3 months. Mountain biking. Swimming. Snorkeling. Motorcycling. Watching sunrises/sunsets. Hopping from island to island. I passionately do these activities to stay cancer free.
Thank you for sharing your inspirational story brother. Very encouraging to hear success stories like yours. I plan on doing the exact same thing that you are doing with swimming and running. Building up my strength and stamina now with walking and yoga. Stay blessed.
I am scheduled for my C&P exam on December 12 at Qualimed Hospital in Iloilo City. I’ve sent my medical records and treatment records to the VA online.
@dazeltv1351 That’s awesome please look up the DBQ for what you claimed and look over 38 CFR book C. It will tell you how they rate claims. Just in case you didn’t already understand this process. Many veterans don’t. It took me 17 years after I got out to understand the Va claims process

Yes my friend. I filed a VA claim under the new PACT Act. I have been contacted by the VA and was told my C&P examination is being scheduled within 90 days.
