Here from Beato as well. Spokane born and raised! Big MK fan! Absolutely loved blasting Metalingus and Open Your Eyes as a teen. A bit older now and can appreciate the absolute masterpiece of a cover this is. Fantastic work Mark - I'm absolutely on the edge of my seat waiting for a potential Volume Two
It's astonishing that Mark was once not comfortable with his voice as a backing vocalist, when he was good. Now he oozes confidence and he's AMAZING. Ol' Blue Eyes would have approved of this - it's a faithful rendition, and an incredible cover.
Well you have to keep in mind that Mark may have learned a thing or two about singing from none other than his partned in crime in Alter Bridge - Myles Kennedy ! If you're gonna have a teacher , Myles would be a great choice.
@@rogerdaly6326 I saw them at Sonisphere Festival UK in 2011, whilst ridiculously hungover on the Saturday morning. Having never heard of them prior and my alcohol infused state still lingering, I can definitely say it was one of the most bizarre, surprising experiences of my life. 🤣
Pure Gold! Mr Tremonti has a smooth black coffee voice. He should sing more classics. Great production, too. I have a countryside house where I often listen to various Sinatra classics. This rendition is fresh almost everywhere it could be. Truly an impressive monument to Mark Tremonti's love for his daughter. We all are grateful for her this way.
I think there's a little bit of sugar in his voice, too. Takes the bitter taste right out of the coffee And you said this is fresh on almost every way. I'm not a jazzhead. Would you please educate me? How could this be better? Not trying to be funny or controversial. Genuinely asking
@@mr.nobody68 Sure. Simple - if you take any classic song and record it exactly the same way, just different performers, it feels stale, boring. The only way to pull it is to have a unique voice. Then again, I heard Sinatra songs by Seal, Buble, Rod Stewart and not always different voice makes it feel fresh. Here, the well known song is given some twists. E.g. I never heard the clarinet on this song before; I hear more prominence given to saxophone& the brass section and mr Tremonti's singing is subdued, not "in love with itself".
I just read about this, and I am blown away! He's a highly underrated guitar player in Creed, Alterbridge and self titled but I had no clue that he could sing phenomenally as well. Bravo!
Met Mark Tremonti for Alter Bridge show in Chicago! Most humble guitarist ever, gave me his signed guitar pick, these guys sound clean yet punchy on stage and musicianship at highest level. This man is genius
Mark, as a native born Las Vegan (1963) whose parents performed at the Lido de Paris is the 60’s. After their performances they used to go over to the Sands to party with the Rat Pack. Brother, my 80 year old parents are tripping with these covers, as I am. God bless you brother this is fantastic work.
Years and years watching this guy play guitar, never expected to be clicking along to a Tremonti voiced version of fly me to the moon, absolute brilliance
Wow, it is always amazing when artists can show range and play other styles of music and pay them respect like Mr. Tremont did hats off to you sir amazing performance.
This is REAL music! I grew up listening to Sinatra....Mr. Tremonti has my total respect! Class Act! I've never listened to Creed....I'm old🤣 But this guy does Ol Blue Eyes proud! 👍
Mark Tremonti covering Frank Sinatra is simply wonderful, Mark certainly has a set of pipes on him. Keep rocking Mark, you are becoming a legend in your own right! 🔥🤘🙌👏👊💖🔥
I remember years ago seeing you mention in an interview that you sing a lot of Sinatra at home and from that moment on I always dreamed you’d drop a Sinatra album! So excited for this!
This sounds fantastic. I love the way Mark has picked up all the inflections and sinatraisms. I would say it was some experience to be in a room with those musician. I can’t wait to hear the other tracks.
I bought this album day one and I listen to it all the time. It's absolutely insane how much range this man has. By far the best modern day musician and someone to look up to in the music industry.
With me growing up listening to Tremonti. He’s gotten me out of the darkest times and hearing these songs, on a bad day, always brightens my day and puts a smile on my face. You are an amazing person, my father and I love your work and we support you. We love you Tremonti! ❤️
I am so proud of the artist you’ve become to show us. Met you several times over the years and a huge fan of your work. Keep up the love and passion. Great job Mark! Cheers from Miami!
As someone who has just had a baby girl less than a year ago, it warms my heart to see a father doing this for his daughter.. we all know you as the Rock god, The riff master, and of course the solo king.. but I love what you are doing as a father AND a musician here.. needless to say we wholeheartedly support what you are doing for awareness AND your sweet baby girl.. We love ya man!
That's why Metalheads are THE BEST type of music fans. They hear metal, learn to play instruments, dig out music origins, try out other styles for inspiration and knowledge, read books for lore and creativity.... There's just nothing flat about a true metalhead.
I just got to mark my last band off my "bucket list" when I saw the INCREDIBLE Alter Bridge in a 5000 seater in Houston on March 17th, 2023. Alter Bridge is simply the best rock band in the last 20 years(to MY 55-year old ears) . Mark and Myles Kennedy, Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall have morphed into Alter Bridge from the ashes of Creed and they are a SPECTACULAR hard rock/semi-metal band. This Sinatra side-project Mark did is just amazing too. Everything Mark touches turns to gold. Bravo.
Real musicians playing classics and a singer who can carry the tune with passion and respect, and he plays the guitar pretty well as a side gig, 👍👍👍👍👍outstanding 🎸
Mr. Tremonti....they say First Class is only a quarter more.....I'd say you have a couple bucks worth🥰. I'm am soon to be 68 and I have the most profound memories of listening to Frank Sinatra as a young girl..I know all the songs by heart...still to this day...thank you for bringing back such good memories and reminding us of Class and the true Classics of music..much respect, Sir☺️
Right up there with Tom Burlinson.......as a massive AB fan, this is just so wonderful, love hearing you and Myles doing your own thing, plus keeping this sort of music alive......
Awesome 😎, I always looked up to Mark since I was 14. He inspired me to be a guitarist. Loved the guitar songs he played in Creed and Alter bridge. Great voice👍 Got to see him live front row in OKC back in 2002 on the Weathered tour with 7 dust. Very talented artist
OK I’m blown away by that! That was spot on! Mark well done! Dude you could cover Sinatra any day of the week in my book I hope to see some more of this from you! But keep the Alter Bridge thing go into. Got tickets to your show already buddy! Can’t wait
This makes me so happy. My earliest memory of Frank Sinatra was my grandpa playing his records and singing these songs to my grandma, miss the both of them so much. And on the other hand my favorite musician ever, a man that I have covering half of my arm and whose music has been my go to for 25+ years singing this really has just made my day. I’m 31 and I’m literally sitting here tearing up. This is AMAZING.
The way he nails that relaxed, behind-the-beat Frank timing is utterly immaculate. A lot of more contemporary crooners always seem to sing Sinatra dead-center, but this dude is really hitting that feel perfectly.
I was in London 2 years ago when I saw the Tremonti Sings Sinatra poster thinking to myself - that's absolutely amazing! Funny how the recent Beato interview finally prompted me to check out how brilliant Mark is pulling this off. Well done, mate!!
The guy who inspired me to play and shred on the guitar and the reason I ended up buying a PRS is you Mark! As I grew older I switched instruments and stuck with acoustic and started learning different genres so hearing this makes me feel nostalgic and happy. Wishing you all the best in life!!!
I've been enjoyng your guitar playing style, since creed time's, then in alter bridge, and most recently your solo work; but this it's absolutely amazing, your voice in another level and style ... clean, deep, high, perfect phrasing, timing .... I deeply thank you for all your talent and music. I'm 48, a blues and metal lover, i salute you from colombia.
It all starts with the song itself - it was great to begin with. Many covers were already done before Frank got a hold of it in '64, including the title change. But the Count Basie/Quincy Jones collaboration took it over the top into immortality. That arrangement did it!
Love the raw recording of this track. Thank you for doing this for your daughter and a good cause.. This brings me back when my grandpa would play Sinatra for me on vinyl.
Initially I was like, Mark Tremonti - Frank Sinatra??? Come on..... then he started singing!!! WOW!!! Did not expect this at all. Amazing sound... Great job Mark!!!
This put a smile on my face! I have a vast taste in music and I love this as much as I love Mark's Metal music. It's always great to see artists like Mark do stuff like this, only true artists could pull this off. Mad props Mark!
Came here after the Beato interview. i am BLOWN AWAY. this is BRILLIANT
Same here, just speechless
Same. Incredible talent!
Same goes for me - goosebumps all over - this is beyond words. All of it. Wow. Thank you for this.
I had no idea until today when I saw him on Beato! Simply beautiful
Same! I've been in Mark Tremonti fan since Creed my own prison. Almost bought one of his Paul Reed Smith signature series guitars..
Me too
Me neither. Mark is a damn ringer for Frank's voice. It's uncanny.
so im not alone haha! im blown away tbh

Agreed. Unbelievable.
Same here! Sidebar, the likes of us also love the voice of Karen Carpenter.
As a fan of hard rock and metal, I love that us fans can branch out and appreciate other kinds of music, especially Sinatra

We met Mark at a gig in the UK some years ago. A real gent, he took the time to speak to my boys and sign their shirts.
Love this new project.
