What a fantastic all terrain vehicle. so clever!
1:25 nah nah nah! Now that is some thing that I’ve never seen in the ambulance service. This is amaaaaaaaazing!!
Haha that's Awesome! In Australia it's mainly the Fire brigade that have the Pod units but this is great.
legonerd500 Thanks. Yeah here it was originally the Fire Brigade's responsibility to have all the rescue and pod vehicles. But it was then realised that patients were more likely to survive if they had medical treatment the second emergency crews reach them. In the inner-cordon of an emergency, before only the fire brigade would enter and they'd rescue the people and bring them to the waiting paramedics outside the inner-cordon - much more people died this way. So now, firefighters and specialist trained Hazardous Area Response Team paramedics go into disaster zones and work with firefighters to rescue the person AND provide medical treatment. This has grown over time and has lead to the ambulance services having a lot of specialist rescue vehicles that can operate medically - such as this.
Aww that kid on the ATV was adorable... I'll bet he doesn't know how lucky he is to get to ride on one of these! :')
Great vid, I didn't know UK's ambulance service could have that much equipment!
gimboyblue1990 Haha lucky little fella. Wish I'd had a father like that when growing up! Yeah we have quite a variety of advanced stuff as apart of the Hazardous Area Response Team. It's getting late and I need to go to bed, but when I have the time I'll tell you more about the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART).
CobraEmergencyVideos :3 Alright Mr. Good Habits, get some shut-eye! I'll wait, I'd love to hear some more about the HART!
i don't think this is allowed in britain, as the firefighters are too busy letting kids visit them
H.a.r.t is the hazardous area response team attend extremely difficult life threatening incidents the trucks are fitted with equipment often found in other services and have a doctor who can preform life saving operations at the incident
this is sadly not allowed anymore for kids
Someone should have put the Thunderbirds Theme tune over the top of this!
Amazing video
StormsGalaxy Thanks
I worked in a Service which had three of the busiest Fire and Rescue Services in Europe. This over provision by COBRA is expensive is seldom used a n d more than likely kill ambulance men. The Fire and RescueService have more than enough to contend with without the incident being cluttered with unnecessary attendees. Any footage i’ve seen of paras is laced with overdrama, with weeping and wailing..
Is it an event ?
