Here in the UK I've got one in the same colour - bought through a postal catalogue outfit. A handy substitute purchase for playing a hoarded pile of old discs - 45rpm and 33-1/3rpm - in this CD/streaming era.
Pleae dont buy these all in one suit case turntables, they will ruin your records. Audio Technica makes some affordable high quality turntables. They not only sound better but are safer to.
@@theantiquescollector2199 they do. The counterweight on these is usually shit so it can damage your record. Whats the point of buying a cheap ahh turntable only to buy a 299 one a bit later. Why not skip this step
@@jorgenfa7819 so why didnt my victrola ruin my records? why are they still playing totally fine after taking care of them? sure i wouldnt play any valuable records on it but they dont ruin records as long as you replace the needle and keep the records clean
@@theantiquescollector2199 People in here can smell your BS. A victrola plays shellac records, not vinyl or polystyrene, so nice try, actually it was a horrible try, nothing nice about your misdirecting and lying to people. @jorgenfa7819 is correct, with no counterweight full tracking force may not ruin it in the first 3 or 5 plays, but the more you spin on something pressing that hard, the faster the grooves are getting worn down, AND with no anti-skating dial vector force is pulling the tonearm inward which is not playing on the grooves flat center. You have *A LOT* to learn about records, so stop using false examples of a victrola when we all know you're trying to win over a conversation you know nothing about.
@@mgofficial5470 Great I’m glad to hear that I have one and I love it so much. My sister used to have a Crosley suitcase record player but I gave her an Audio Technica LP60XBT as a birthday present and she loves it
I recently got the AT-LP60X and hooked it up to my receiver. Really enjoying it so far. I still have an all in one turntable I got as a gift. Never used it though for the reasons you stated lol.
@@Anastasia2048 I’m glad you now have an Audio Technica LP60X record player and that you’re enjoying it it’s so much better. I just ordered a friend of mine who’s a UA-camr the Lp60xbt in lilac to replace her Victrola suitcase record player and it’s gonna be delivered to her day after tomorrow
Well it works pretty good actually. Sound quality is nice and it doesnt ruin my vinyls at all. And of course when you pay 300 dollars you'll obviously get more quality but its a good recordplayer for a budget like this. It does all the things it has to do. I have this thing for over a year now and i did not experience any bad stuff.

Does it run on battery's? Pls tell me.
No, it doesn't
You should upgrade to an Audio Technica LP60XBT because suitcase record players ruin your records
Exactly I actually own the audio technica and it’s a big upgrade and sounds 10 times better

Does it require an plug socket for it to play?
Yes
