    Hi Sir,
When to go with display or enable rule. What is the difference between them?
    TIA

Hi! These days, there is very little difference other than the rules that they can contain. Both will make a button hidden or visible.

While hiding buttons, it is hiding buttons for all the apps using that entity. I want to hide the buttons only to a specific Model-driven app. Can you please let me know what I am doing wrong? Thanks for the help in advance.

Do you have a video on how to hide buttons based the user's security role? I am on a project whereby the client wants to give many of their users a "less noisy" ribbon, by hiding a lot of buttons, which is fine. But I want my System Administrator to be able to see (and use) all of those buttons that are hidden for others.

In my scenario, one of the devs have hidden an OOB Export To Excel button on an entity ages ago using the same technique. The business now requires the button to be back but we don't know exactly when and in which solution the button was originally hidden. When we now load the entity using a new solution, we don't see the button at all on ribbon nor do we see the "Hide Action". Is there a way to undo the "Hide Action" as well in this scenario? Thanks Scott

Hi Manoj - thanks for watching! The hide action will be in a managed solution, so you will need to find the development environment that the solution was exported from originally, remove it there, and re-export the solution to be installed on the target environment.

Hi Scott - Lovely tool you've got there. The only issue I am facing and it did not seem like you did from the video is that I never get a successful publish in one go. There is just one entity and button hidings and relocation that I am performing but it makes me do 5-7 times publishing the changes and yet come back either with an error or no changes being made. What are your thoughts on this ?

Hi! Thanks for watching. 😊 If the publish works, but you do not see the changes - then it is likely that the Ribbon Cache is still refreshing, or you'll need to use Ctrl-F5 on the app. You can use the command bar debugger to check that is going on learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/power-platform/power-apps/create-and-use-apps/ribbon-issues
If there is an error - it is most likely a timeout which can happen on slow instances, or when there are other publishes going on at the same time. A retry is the best option here. Thanks again for watching and commenting 😊

@@ScottDurow - Thanks for that. I have a situation and I want to understand if the Ribbon workbench tool can help me. Previously I have created a Ribbon-solution for Lead where I have hidden and moved around some OOB buttons and published changes. The changes reflected perfectly fine. Recently I have brought over an Unmanaged solution to my env which had some changes in it and has messedup my look and feel of Lead command bar (buttons UI). Is it possible to quickly revert it back to what it initially was.
I have tried to reference the same Lead ribbon wolution I had initially created and cannot hide some buttons I had previously hidden which I would like to hide. Also I can only see Delete as the option for most buttons now. Not sure what it does and what the implications are. If you could help me with suggestions and "how to" or if you already have a video for that, that would be swell. Cheers

Hi Scott, great video, but I'm having some trouble on a solution i'm implementing at the moment. Is there anyway to remove unwanted entities from the (+) button on the activitypointer subgrid, like for instance, fax and letter? I'm sorry for this question, but i'm a bit of a novice working around CRM, a even more new to the ribbon workbench. Would appreciate any help you can give. Thanks.
