Fab fab fab as always- really enjoyed your teachings - 👍also picked up a couple of very useful tips- you are very energising and encouraging so thank you x 🐼
Thanks Elaine. Nice Tutorial. I enjoyed it a lot. One little observation: Your Trifold is in triptychon folding - the mockup is a zig zag folding. The page layout will change with the folding :)
I know! But you wouldn't believe the nightmare I had finding a free smart object enabled mockup that actually worked in Affinity Publisher I could share. There was a bug that stopped them working fully ... needless to say the second I finished the video Serif released 2.3.1 and claimed it was fixed! 🙄
@@ElaineGiles The differenz between triptychon and zig zag folding is the page size. 99 mm for all pages is possible for a zig zag trifold, 100/100/97 is requiered for a triptychon trifold - because the page to be folded inwards needs to be shorter. A technicality - this will only matters, if you send it to your printer!
Elaine thank you again for another fantastic AP tutorial, you are amazing. Just curious though at 13:11 for example what happened to the kerning. Seems strange all of the other numbers look Elaine-perfect except the number "11". Maybe an AP quirk? Is there an easy fix? Otherwise as always I learn something new from you. If you're taking suggestions I would love to see you do another non-fiction book, specifically a gardening workbook with lots of fill-in templates, tables, how images should flow through the entire work etc. Thanks Elaine--Fred/Tacoma WA.
Glad you enjoyed it. It could well have been the font. Manual kerning would probably be the fastest fix. Loving the idea of the gardening workbook! I'll be sure to add it to the list for future tutorials 👍
LOL . BTW I loved the tutorial. I hardly use the software but I like your vids.@@ElaineGiles. I use this trick in my main software which is 3ds max (Architectural visualization)
I can only say thank you!
You made me smile. It was a pleasure to enjoy learning and how much joy it gives you to teach.
Merci beaucoup pour cette démonstration de votre talent, et l'efficacité du tutoriel 😊
Je suis heureux que vous l'ayez trouvé utile, merci pour vos aimables paroles.
Nice to here from you again, perfect for my Publisher skills 👍🏻
Happy to help!
Nice one Elaine - love that your OCD didnt catch the Digital Ditribution folder misspell :)
LOL ... you spotted my fiendish plan to play with your mind!! 🤣🤣

Serif has its timing - had the luck with the first book feature.
Nice to see new tutorials for Affinity! Can't wait for the next one!

Twice in a week 😁
When you least expect it! 🤣
You do not need to put the calculation in parenthesis: 297/3*2 will give you the same result.
Good to know ... my overly strict maths teacher clearly had too much influence on me! 🤣
