Thank you for the informative/educational effort. I have followed each step and found the cabin filter BLACK and fully chocked. I got it cleaned with air pressure hose at my near by petrol pump and the air conditioning system is working first class. Note had to drive from Mumbai to Pune and back and working as if it’s a brand new system. Once again thank you.

Dashboard is like a hollow things .. entire dashboard has a inflow in interior. And that comes from engine bay. You need to get it checked in workshop. There would be some hole made by the little one. You can keep a tea bag under you car mat. There are few spray/polish available in market specially for cars. You can get it and apply in engine under hood. Hope it will help.
They can also be there in boot space and may had made a way to cabin from behind. It is quite possible you are driving and the rat is still in boot or under rear seat hiding. You need to thoroughly check where did it entered from. And apply rat repellent on that space (boot as well as bonnet). Get it checked asap because they may start cutting wires and interior which is very annoying and it would be difficult to figure out malfunction of the sensors and vehicle control system.
