Our Daughter's Room Flooded On Christmas Eve. Damage to Our Home

You never want to hear your wife tell you that the carpet is soaked when you walk on it.. knowing nothing spilled. That means there is a leak somewhere and water is flooding into your home. Our daughter's room was flooded on Christmas Eve, and we had some home damage because of the water. We pulled up the carpet and cut out the pad, and tried to find the source of where the water was entering. It ruined the walls, ceiling, floorboards and carpet. Hopefully we don't find more damage on Christmas Day. Looks like we have some home improvement to do on Christmas Eve this year :)
