In this video, we visited the legendary instrument designer and Grammy-winner Dave Smith at the DSI booth to a get a first-hand look at the impressive OB-6 polyphonic analog synthesizer developed in collaboration with renowned audio engineer Tom Oberheim. The new 6-voice OB-6 synthesizer delivers an all-analog signal powered by a sound engine inspired by Tom Oberheim's classic SEM circuits from the 1970s. This prestige instrument features two voltage-controlled oscillators, a sub oscillator, a state-variable filter, continuously variable waveshapes, 64-step polyphonic step sequencer, dual digital effects engines, a full-featured arpeggiator, and more.
