He explained on the Chronicles Of Junior MAFIA dvd almost 20 years ago that they pulled that whole stunt on the day of the Conspiracy album photo shoot. The MAFIA was discussing it and said no contracts were signed until that point and if they didn’t sign that they couldn’t be on the album cover.🤔 It’s a little strange to me that THAT would be the hold up. It makes me wonder what Biggie’s whole take was on that situation cause they didn’t say what his stance was at all. Klept was originally on Players Anthem but they took his wack verse off that’s probably why they let the beat rock for close to two minutes on the album version. Radio would have never played that version because it was too long. The MAFIA delivered three “perfect” verses and Klepts verse wasn’t hittin on nothin. I don’t know if he would have become a star but he was good on the album. He got a track with just him and Biggie on there called Oh My Lord. From the material released, Cease can’t even say he has a legit song with just him and Biggie.
