I hope you don't mind that generic 1st paragraph. It's important to get all those keywords in the right places. Now for the real description.
First off, Toby's neuter went great. You wouldn't even know he saw the vet today. I'm confident he will be out camping next week.
This weekend started out Friday after work. I headed into Cass County looking for a remote dispersed campsite. I was talking with Jack, from Tiny Cabin Life. He was telling me about an area with major historical significance. I had done some research and was excited to share the story. However, I found some literature that said the area was closed to the public. I contacted the National Forest to inquire about the property. Initially they said the land was off limits because it was no longer public, however I have plate maps that showed differently. So now I'm waiting on the Forest Curator to get back to me. I completely understand how significant and important this land is, and I know they don't want it to be disrupted in any way. I hope they understand that I would be nothing but respectful and I think it's important that we don't forget the history. The story of these forests goes back many, many, years. Wars have been won and lost on this soil. It important we don't forget how we got to where we are today. Unfortunately, the Chippawa National Forest took the location off their website, it now says the location is unavailable. Maybe one day I'll be able to share the story with you.
After finding occupied campsites I decided to continue north. I ended up at a dispersed campsite near the Lost 40. This campsite is not easy to use. It nowhere close to level, and the actual site is on top of a hill. But if you can manage those issues the payoff is fantastic. The site from the hill is beautiful. This place is really remote. I found it a few years ago. It was once listed on the Forest website as a dispersed campsite, but not any longer. They also took sign that says it's a Dispersed site. There is no cell service in this area so doing research online while driving through the forest is impossible. Toby and I went on a hike Saturday, and I found another old campsite. This one would be even better then where I was. I think I'll go back there with a tent on day.
This site was the location of the "Whoop, Whoop" sound. It was almost 2 years ago when I heard it. It came from across the trail. Oddly enough, Toby was staring across the trail for a good part of the weekend. You can see it often on camera. I bet he spent hours with all his attention focused on the woods across the trail.
I had one weird experience. I didn't talk about it on camera. I didn't want to think about it or give it any attention. I knew that it would go to my head and id want to leave early.
Here is what happened. Saturday night I went to bed late. I tried to get all the footage uploaded and put in order for editing. It was around 1am when I started to wind down. I went to the lake to set up the camera for the shot of the stars, nothing seemed out of place and i didn't get any creepy vibes. I had no problem falling asleep that night. It was about 430am when I woke up. I was really cold. I reached for more blankets and looked up to see if Toby looked cold. That is when I noticed my camper door was hanging completely open. Toby was sleeping at the dinette, that's where he always lays. The wired thing is the screen door was closed but the main door was open. If you know about camper doors, you know the main door and the screen door are attached together. I still don't know how the two doors became separated. Both doors were closed when i went to bed......I don't know... But I do need to get the lock fixed sooner than later.
Its Monday Night at 1230 and I'm just getting the description done for this video...I don't have the thumbnail made yet and I have to leave for work in 6 hours...I'm not getting a Patreon account set up for this video. But hopefully this week I'll find time.
Thanks for following along. Toby and I will see you again next week!
This last paragraph is also for the search results. I want to go full time truck camper living so one day I can go camping in the worst snow storm. But even though camping in an extreme blizzard can be fun, its nothing compared to the excitement of camping in abandoned places. The bottom line is whether I'm camping in winter snow storm, trying to figure out how to stay cool truck camping, or solo camping in heavy rain I'm doing what I love.
The Patreon will be set up real soon! It will be free for everyone to join. This way I will have an option for people to support the channel if they choose. But the content will not be limited to how much you are able to donate. I'll let you know on the next video if it up and running.
Kenny
Love this!❤
Count me in as a paying subscriber, and do keep up the good work, brother.
Very nice
Great ❤️
Stalking your page for the Patreon info….. I will sign up!
I lost my left leg (above the knee) to cancer. The operation was on May 2nd. Im currently learning to walk again, using a prosthetic leg. Watching your videos brings peace to a stressful & traumatic time in my life. Thanks for everything you do.
I really appreciate you following along with Toby and me. I'm glad to hear the videos are helping you through, stay strong. Thank you for supporting the channel. I appreciate the donation.
My husband asked me what I was watching? I said a guy camping. Does something scary happen? No, he's just camping. Does he get lost in the woods? No, he's just camping. Huh? Just really peaceful and soothing.
I love it!
Lol....I said the same thing!
😂 I had the same conversation with my family.
Yep!
😂
Kenny, I've commented before. I'm an ex construction worker turned truck driver, I'm kind of a hard man. Your videos have softened me in a way I can't explain. Thank you
After thirty years in the military, I pray that someday I can be in your shoes. I wish I could be softer. These videos help...more than Kenny realizes.
@curly1167 I've worked in construction for 25 years, I don't see myself as a tough guy, but I really appreciated Kenny's attitude and demeanour. He is just a cool guy with a cool way of showing his life. I've not had the easiest of times over the last 5 years due to health (hip surgeries)
Love your videos! Your my #1 channel on UA-cam. What a great poem! It said it all. You're a one in millions please keep up the great work.
Seems like a nice enough place. Would of been super if the winds would of died down. Even so Toby looks relaxed. B safe in u travels.
Thank you so much. The videos are kind of like therapy for me as well. I started the channel to take me out of my comfort zone. I had just left the police department when I started the channel. I was looking for something to light my fire again. One day, I realized I wasn't the same person I once was. I had no empathy, no emotions, and no patience. I was suffering from night terrors and undiagnosed PTSD. I would stay awke at night and stew on calls and incidents that were years old. I was secretly going through a lot and never could ask for help. One day, while backgrounding a few new Officers, during the interview process, I saw a spark in their eyes. I knew i once had that spark. I thought i was gonna make a difference once too. But I realized my spark was gone. I had nothing left to give. I needed to get out before my old self had completely disappeared. Mandi was a really big supporter and assured me I was making the right decisions.
The channel was a way for me to keep challenging myself. I'm not a big people person and never shared much of myself. Every week, when I press record, I challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone.
I guess what you are seeing every week is me trying to heal myself. I'm glad that comes through in the videos and helps others relax.
I feel so much better when a dog goes with you. It is good for him & safer for you
Kenny, Never turn down money. If you do you are telling the universe you don’t want it. Money is a gift that people who have it want to share it with you. So accept the money with gratitude. You provide us with entertainment. You do a great job with your videos. Think of it as your reward for all your hard work.
Since I am from the south, You have opened my eyes to the beauty of your state. Keep it up. We all appreciate your efforts.
Thank you Kenny
Exactly this. The Universe hears you. Put your intentions & desires out there and you shall receive. But out your gratitude out there too. And always, always keep putting out the good Karma.
It's all energy. Good energy attracts good. Keep the cycle going. 🙏
Thank you. I appreciate that.
I really appreciate all the encouragement!
They are called Grifters. Satan works his magic. They lure you in and take your money while they get rich but worship Satan.
Thanks for sharing, Kenny. I've been going through cancer treatment for the past 2.5 years and your channel has been a big part of my therapy. I have a motor home that I haven't been able to use, so I camp vicariously through you and Toby. However, I live in the deep South, so my camping never includes snow or cold weather! Your demeanor and your content are refreshing and always have me looking forward to the next video. I have cards with many of the recipes you prepare and have done some myself, usually on the stove though. Tonight is artichoke dip on baguettes. Keep up your awesome work and maybe one day, I'll see you down the road.
I appreciate you watching. I'm glad to hear the videos provide you with an escape. Stay strong, Toby and I will keep bringing you along until you're back in the motor home.
Bigfoot, I wouldn't camp overnight, you are in there home, you went under a bend, you are a brave guy
A hammock, a dog, and nature..does it get any better than that! Great video Kenny! Hi Toby!!!
I think the decision to accept some money, is accepting your succes in building a channel that viewers want to be a part of. Congratulations on 3 years!
Toby isn't lazy...he is a Master at conserving his energy for Fun! Thank You for sharing this Amazing Adventure with us!
This is my second video of yours I’ve watched, your soothing voice and the mellow music calms my heart and soul. I’m a man of many trades too, farmers son, Marine veteran, auto mechanic turned truck driver and a working geologist. Later a state police officer, criminal investigator and avid camper-your easy style helps me deal with those pesky ghosts and ghouls of my past law enforcement life. Thanks for the un-intrusive Therapy my new friend!
I really appreciate that. The woods are therapy for me as well. We are brothers in LE. I got out two years ago. The night terrors and undiagnosed PTSD was wrecking me. Mandi, my girlfriend, said I was no longer the person I once was. My empthey was gone, and my emotions were numb. But now you understand why I try so hard to get as far away from people as possible every week.
Toby is so mellow but also very alert. He is always looking around checking for dangers. You dont have to worry about anyone sneaking up on you! Great c.hannel
It's amazing how calm that dog is, you can always tell dogs resemble their owners personalities
Awwwwwww Toby in the Hammock with you. So cute. I love how Toby has has own camping chair and you always make him feel so comfy cozy. The food looked amazing.
Kenny the poem brought tears to my eyes as well. Thank you for taking us along on your adventures. God bless you!
Nothing compares to camping with your dog / and girlfriend or wife … makes it more epic
A Big man with even a Bigger Heart. Thank you for doing your videos for us .
I appreciate that
Beats Netflix. Thanks for sharing your time with us.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your generosity!
Maybe one of these days I’ll go back to my channel and continue what I used to do, you inspired me Kenny n Toby. It’s been a hectic year for us and your videos calm me every time. God bless you and yours 🙏
no wife, just a dog........I can relate and could not be happier, life is good my friend.

Kenny,
The final 8 minutes of this video gives me hope for the human race.
I've gone through some major life changes over the past year or so, and I've been blessed to have The Lord (and the universe) send you my way. It's an honor to know you, and to (hopefully soon) become a paying subscriber of yours. You deserve it.
Thank you so much for everything that you do. Live your best life, always, and "see you down the road".
Namasté. 🌸
I really appreciate that. And I know not everyone has the means to support monetarily, so I'll have the content free for everyone on Patreon. I'm just opening the door for the people who have soled about sending cash for fuel and upkeep costs. I don't want anyone to feel like they are not welcome in this community. Everyone is welcome to watch and follow along.
That looks like heavenly paradise to me. I should start going camping by myself too. Looks peaceful.
Whoop Whoop sounds like a Sasquatch! Their tone alone will go thru you like glass! ❤😊
Toby cherishes his sleep!
Life is short peace and love be
Kind !
Kenny, your videos are so peaceful. The scenery is always so beautiful. You are so humble and kind. Your voice is so calming. Your videos are the perfect ending to a hectic day working in the hospital. My favorite part of your videos is of course sweet Toby. He is so adorable. He is the best good boy. Thank you for sharing your adventures. God bless. 🙏🏼♥️
Thank you so much! 😊
Binge watching your vids Kenny! So relaxing! As a retired police officer myself, I too go back to incidents on duty. Thanks for what you do now and thanks for your service.
Kenny I am a regular viewer but i dont comment most of the time. Please know how much we love your visits. Your videos were one of the few that me and my mum would watch together. My mum died May 8 2024 and i couldnt watch till this week. This video was very healing and I thank you so much for that. I hope doing Patreon helps you to keep doing these videos. Thank you
Sorry for your loss. Kenny does have a calming & healing effect on me too. It's like he's just an extension of the nature he allows us to go to with him.
Sorry for your loss 🤗.
Mum's will always still be around, she will be in your heart and watching over you when u sleep. She will never stop being your mum 😚. God bless.
I'm a 70 year old great grandma, I miss walking through the woods, one of my favorite things.
I'm very sorry for your loss. You have my deepest condolences. I hope the video gave your mind a tiny escape.
@aliceblanton4911 I'm happy to bring you along into the woods here in Minnesota every Tuesday evening. I appreciate you watching.
What a beautiful poem
How beautiful thou are.
(Thank you Lord)
What are the delightful and beautiful poem
Hey Buddy, another awesome camping adventure this week. Toby is getting much bigger. Hey when you read the poem sent to you, you were not the only person who got tears in their eyes. I did too because honestly every word written is absolutely true! You're an awesome example of a real honest human. You are loved by so many each and every week and we all want to support you in any way possible just so we can go camping with you Kenny.
Thank you so much for the kind words. It's so encouraging hearing how people enjoy going on these little outings with Toby and me. I really appreciate you!
Hello, from a fellow truck camper owner. We have a Ranger Solo Stove that we store in our truck cab. So far, we’ve never smelled it in the truck. We do wrap it up in a plastic bag before putting it back in the carrying case so that may help. Just a few tips we got from a veteran RVer that we’ll pass on to you… The firewood needs to be lower than the air vents in order to reduce the smoke. And you don’t ever want the inside of it to get wet. We bought a 10 gallon metal trash can at Tractor Supply. The lid fits perfectly over the fire pit. When we’re ready to call it a night, we just put the lid over it so we don’t have to worry about rain. My husband and I look forward to your videos each week. We live in Alabama, but his parents live near the Boundary Waters in Lake County. Beautiful scenery up there!
Thank you for the tips! I like the idea of the trash can cover. I will have to pick one up. Thanks for watching!
Ohhhh I love the poem!!! Made me tear up too! The music you added made me feel so peaceful and serene!!! 😊❤. Thank you for sharing! 👍🏼🙏🏼
That Squatch was putting the "Hey I smell what you're cooking and want some" bass thru you!😆
Your little black book of viewer letters is a treasure trove of goodwill and creativity, a testament to the community you've built. I dream of having my own collection of uplifting notes in my camper someday, just like yours. Keep sharing your incredible journeys and wise words-you're making the world a better place, one campsite at a time. Be kind. Be honest. I'll see you down the road.
Cheers Jared
I appreciate that.
There still are some thoughtful people in this world Tobey is the perfect companion for camping
It was touching to see how moved you were by the poem you read from your viewers. You have a kind heart.
Another Tuesday. Another relaxing camping trip. Thanks for taking us along.
Congrats on three years Kenny! I have been watching you since near the start of your channel and have recently gotten back into catching up with your videos. I didn’t know until now how much your stories and community means to me. I have never met you but feel so connected and comfortable when I get to join you on your adventures. Sending you and Toby the most love I can my brother. Looking forward to keeping up with the channel as it grows even more! Be well all
I really do appreciate that. It's been fun. I go back and watch the old videos every one in a while. It's fun to see how far the channel has come.
Love the poem!! Love watching u n Toby hes such a good boy
3:08pm really getting me want to camp once again. Had to stop chasing my dream because of health issues. Had the truck and a fifth wheel, but I could've put a truck camper on. No doubt Toby is a great dog. You're lucky to have such a good companion. We will be helping you out the best we can.
What a wonderful poem and do true❣️🙏❣️
Oh Kenney! Sounds like you had a close Encounter with a Squatch those few years back!
What you described is exactly how people describe there Encounters Woops are them communicating! WOW!
Congratulations on 3 years!!! That's a big achievement 👍
Thank you so much!
Woh, what is that tinfoil bag?! I've never seen such a thing , how handy.
Thanks as always for bringing us along , say hi to Toby for me
I never saw them either. Just ordered a package from Amazon.
@@lindalyons6372Ditto! I have never seen them used! Thank goodness for Amazon 😉
The name of the ones I bought were Kingsford. I do like them
Thank you for all you share! I have watched all your videos & learned so much about camping, but also about how to be in the world! I have so much respect for you! The emotions you share are beautiful! Glad to be able to contribute to your channel, to express my appreciation for all give us each week!
My husband camped in Omak & Wenatchee this past weekend. So beautiful! We looked at that exact fire pit in Walmart this weekend! Glad to know it’s so good.
Just read your description - so creepy for you! I guess if Toby didn’t alert, I would guess wind. But a good idea to get the lock fixed. 😜
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your generosity. The support is really appreciated. I'm also glad to see you read the description. I always wonder if anyone looks at it. Thanks again! 😊
Toby matches your heart beat,he’s clam because of you❤
I love the way Toby just follows you around. He never lets you out of his sight. I love that he has his own chair by the campfire. Another beautiful video. Thank you.
You are living the dream & having fun with it. God bless you & Toby. It is great your lady shares this with you sometimes. Nothing better than getting out in Gods country. Congrats on 3 years already.
Thanks!
Convratulations Kenny on you're 3 years, it's always a pleasure to watch you're videos & with Toby he's getting much bigger now he is a good companion to you on you're trips. The poem that you read out was awesome it brings, tears to you're Eyes. It was a lovely thing to say about you on you're travels Kenny.. This is one of the best videos out there 🚐
Thank you so much!
3 years?! Already?! That doesn't seem possible! Time flies when you're having fun, and your videos bring joy to us all. Thank You.
Thanks for taking us with you Kenny. What a great poem. And wow has Toby gotten big.
Toby is the best..jumping in hammock with you...precious..you are so laid back which comes through...l never go on holidays as l have 3 dogs...but after watching you and others ..l have decided to turn my old hiace into a camper ...getting excited
As to you starting a Patreon page, you have given freely of your time and experiences. Those who wish to contribute will do so willingly, and those who do not will still follow your videos. You can still control content, and you don't have to promote products unless you choose to. Good luck to you and I hope it will allow you to spend more time doing what you seem to love to do.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Enjoying !!

Great job Kenny and the people who wrote that poem for u may I say it was well deserved 👏
Great video as usual Kenny. No shame in letting your fans contribute to your channel. Not everyone will, not everyone can, but those who are able and do so are simply returning the gift of your time and experiences you give to them. Always remember that the act of giving gives far more joy than the act of receiving. As you said…there’s now over 44,000 people that love what you do…I’m glad you’re allowing them to do what they do. There are tons of content creators out there that do it for the money…us 44,000 plus Kenny subscribers know the difference. Keep on keeping on.
That was a cool poem. True words that we all are feeling. We thank you for these videos. Kenny, 3 years congratulations. I'm hoping there's many more to come. And who knows? I might even get to run into you in the woods someday.
Definitely say hi if we cross paths.
Oh my gosh I LOVED this video. While you was reading the poem it brought tears to my eyes. I think you are a pretty kindhearted guy that has feelings for everyone and sometimes that’s hard to do. You are going far on UA-cam because you’re honest and kind. Thank you for making my evening. I look forward to Tuesdays. It’s a Kenny video time. Until next week take care. Oh wait I forgot. Give Toby a hug for me he’s such a good boy.
I’ve been watching a lot of your videos and have become addicted. Never realized how beautiful Minnesota was. Love Toby.
Thanks for watching!
You are so good at this video making game. Your music, your relaxed state, your filming and drone shots. Every word of that poem is the truth. But you need to quit showing me all the neat gadgets. I need a smokeless fire pit and a percolator now :-) Have a great week Kenny and Co.
Thank you so much 🤗
Wow, what a heart warming poem. Made my eyes weep. But absolutely true, and I'm sure every viewer totally agrees .
So here's the thing: you're not asking for help. You're just making it easy for people to offer thanks for your content if the feeling moves them and they're able and inclined to do so. I completely get where you're coming from: I also dislike asking for help. I've hated getting unemployment in the past even though I've paid into it for 45 years and counting. I currently have a fulltime job which would make me and mine pretty comfortable in much of the country but I live in the metro DC area and support four other people. Just a regular person running the usual roach errands to make ends meet. I'm currently making use of a food pantry because we're food insecure. So lots of ends and not much meeting. It's tough out there. I'd still give you a little cash if I could afford it as your demeanor and treatment of others and your relentless search weekly for a great place to camp brings me happiness.
Looking forward to your next video. Plus you got a three day weekend coming up!
Thank you for that.
I was watching you "unbox" that stove/smokeless firepit whatever it is and said "That's an awful lot of pieces." Then you said "there's a lot of pieces in here" and I laughed my head off. You guys are great! I'm new to Minnesota and found your channel while looking for places to do dispersed camping (where I don't have to listen to children scream...I'm glad the kiddos have fun at the campsites, but listening to the crickets and frogs "scream" is much more what I'm looking for. Thanks for making these videos.
Congratulations on 3 yrs. Very nice poem. Thank you
Love the poem! It brought tears to my eyes. I'm from Illinois, followed my daughter to Texas. Your videos remind me of home. I lived up above the Great River Road. My grandpa had property in Jersey county, of which my dad purchased when he passed. I was raised in Madison county, then bought a farm making the land a triangle in Jersey county. Ironically, the woman I bought my place from became my daughter 's grandmother. She already seems like when she is done with college, her and her boyfriend will be moving back towards our farm. Thank you for sharing so much of your life with us.
I enjoyed tonight's video, Kenny. That cooker was amazing. I think I'll get one for any apocalyptic times ahead. Toby is precious!
Love your videos Kenny, Toby is such an awesome companion. You both are blessed. I will always refer to Tuesdays as Toby Tuesday from now on. Someone mentioned earlier about being on a fixed income, we are as well, so not sure if we will be able to join you on Patreon. We will still be a UA-cam subscriber though. Congratulations on 3 years. The poem was spot on. Kenny, you truly are a man of God. You honor Him in all your videos. I would say in all you do.. i can assume. You cant fake that. Toby's good nature comes out in response to your good nature. Toby was born to fit in your family and life. Keep being you Mr. Kenny, you make a difference. Your friend Ree
Absolutely. The Patreon will be open and free to everyone! I just want an outlet for people to donate I they choose. I'm not having special perks for people who donate. Everyone is welcome!
Kenny, I beg to differ; I think you will indeed be able to do what you are doing full time. I believe that the early subscribers are far more challenging to attain than the more recent subscribers. In other words I think your channel will snowball in the coming months and years. Your patience will pay off, in ways you never thought possible. Best regards from Stan in Wichita Kansas.
Thank you for the encouragement 🙏
You're definitely a blessing to me. Life isn't easy for any of us. I've been on a quest to destress my life. And, your format brings me peace. Thank you for sharing your journeys.
this channel is by far the best camping channel on youtube as far as im concerned ...that's saying alot because there are some really good youtubers with camping content...keep up the good content bud
I really appreciate that! Thank you 😊
Your the best Kenny. Turn a bad day into a good day for me each time I watch sir. Keep up the good work. Love what u do and how u do it.
Waking up and finding your camper door wide open must have been a creepy experience considering what you already encountered previously at that location. You recently mentioned motion detectors. This would be a good argument in favor. Also maybe a couple of game cams. You do a lot of outside cooking. It could be interesting to see the visitors to your campsite after you turn in!!!!
O do really need game cams. That has to happen this summer. It would be cool to see the critters that come in at night.
I agree
Thanks!
Thank you so much. I appreciate the support.
Kenny of All Trades you’re videos are so great, my husband introduced me to you’re channel and I’m so glad he did we watch you every week, you are such a humble person and I always feel so good when I watch you’re videos, thank you for welcoming us into you’re camping life, I hope you have a great day!!!! We sure love watching Toby!!!!!
Awesome! Thank you!
I was driving into that wind Saturday pulling an RV to western MN. Brutal. 7.8 mpg on the way out. 13 mpg on the way home. That's MN in the spring.
Love the content Kenny. God bless you!
Thanks for watching!
Kenny, we just discovered that we were somehow “unsubscribed” from your channel as we went to watch your Tuesday evening posting! We’ve been hearing other UA-camrs warning their subscribers but this really surprised us. No worries … we immediately resubscribed!!
I'm not sure why that happens. It's odd, UA-cam says they dont unsubscribe people. They say the viewers must un-subscribe by accident. But i do find it odd with how many people say they have to constantly hit subscribe. In the video where Mandi and I went on a hike, I lost a bunch of subscribers. Don't get me wrong, every video has a few subscribers drop off. But I usually gain more than I lose. But not on this video. I know it had nothing to do with video, but Mandi took it to heart. I don't know why UA-cam messes around like that.
Let Mandi know that we love the videos with her! Even if she is a little camera shy. 😊. And we love Toby too! Keep it up!
Thanks!
I think Toby needs a bigger bed! Great video as always Kenny!
Wow! What a beautiful poem that pretty much sums up your channel so well! Obviously, you were touched by it just like many of us were. I always look forward to your content and I'm just glad that you finally started a Patreon section so that those of us who love your channel can support you to just keep bringing us more good content from your adventures. This was definitely another great YT vlog! Keep em' coming Kenny!
I enjoy your videos so much. It's so nice to escape to the world of peace, tranquility, and kindness that you bring us every week. It's also different from the world of today with its pressures and where people aren't always so kind. All the best with the Patreon. It's great that people who can give and want to give will be able to.
Happy 3 year anniversary Kenny. I’ve been watching you for about a year now. I’ve gone back and watched a lot of your older videos. I look forward to seeing you and Toby every week. Here’s to watching you for another 3 years to come! 👍🏽
Good advice from Will. I agree. You bring so much to all of us. We should be able to give back.
God bless Kenny.
Thanks!
Tobby is such a sweetheart. Good move.
Kenny, I totally agree with Will. The Lord wants to use you to continue your blessing us with wholesome content and that we are blessed watching your vids. God bless you bro for such great content. I love your channel and as soon as I get back to working I want to be a supporter of your channel.
I appreciate that
Awesome poem, fitting for a person who brings camping to those who don’t get a chance to experience it. Thank you for all you do.
Toby is the quietest dog!! Don’t think I’ve ever heard him bark in the videos I’ve watched.
He’s got a comfy outdoor chair and he is outgrowing his bed!!😂
I agree that percolators of the past make the best coffee. I regret getting rid of my mom’s!
:(
Enjoy the videos. You are a simple guy with simple tastes and a love of outdoors. Wonderful to see!🪴🪴🪴
A note on the whoop you heard years back…. Sasquatch? I keep an open mind after watching Dave Paulides, Les (forget his last name) and Steve I from How to Hunt. Be safe out there so isolated🙏🏻
Hey Kenny, the poem was very meaningful and appropriate for what you do. Kudos to the author(s). You nailed it. 100% for Patreon. I'll be there. Loved the stove too. I see many meals coming.
Lol. Thanks. Im already thinking about how to use the fire pit and the smoker top for this weekend. I have a bunch of rhubarb in the flower bed that needs to be cut, it might be a good time for a dutch oven desert.
@@KennyOfAllTrades thank God it's rhubarb and not zuchini. I love the smoker top for the tripod.
Love watching you and Toby. I can’t wait until I’m out there traveling. Patreon is a great idea!!
Great video and i am very happy you are allowing Patreon. I also follow Tiny Cabin Life and he has a video sponsor, which i like. It gives be good information about a product he likes and it helps pay him to do the video. Anyone that cant watch a 30 sec. sponsor commercial, needs to know that you work hard and deserve to be compensated for your hard work and time.
Alright Alright Alright
YET ANOTHER MOST EXCELLENT VIDEO BY KOAT!!!
Wow, this one was an intimate and touching video! 3 years! Wow how time flies, can’t believe it’s been 3 years!
The poem…I’m was left speechless while wiping tears from eyes! That was such a heartwarming and soul touching poem! I can’t remember who who sent it, but thank you for doing so; I felt it and I felt was part of it!
And Will’s letter, another touch of the soul right there!
I know you are man who doesn’t ask for help, but I’ve told you for awhile now to do what you needed to do to survive in the land of YT…whether it be affiliate links or doing paid promotions or even patreon for that matter! I’m glad to see you stepping out of your comfort zone a little bit and respect you for doing so.
I have enjoyed ever single video you have done over the past there years, I’ve watched you grow as an editor, writer and mature as a YTer and I am proud to call you a friend…hopefully one day I shall have the honor of meeting you! Until then I will live vicariously through you every Tuesday until my dreams of being a nomad come to fruition in a few years!
May the next 3 years be as bountiful for you (and Toby) as the last three years!
Oh yeah, I think Toby’s on the verge of outgrowing his bed pillow! 😀
As always, stay safe out there…..
Lol, I thought u guys had met long ago! Oh well, maybe someday Kenny will hold a camp out weekend and instead of being out camping alone he'll be surrounded by all his subscribers 😱 🫢....😂🍻
@@SpykersB I’ve been following him pretty much since he started…I think I came across like his 10th video or so and believe he was below 1,000 followers. I then proceeded to binge watch all his prior videos and haven’t missed a single episode since. So it feels like I’ve met KOAT several times over throughout the years
Hello, My husband wrote the poem and he did it with such heartfelt emotion, We love Kenny, he can make a bad day happy and he is such a God send to All. God bless, Jeremy & Jody
It was so kind of him! It really means a lot to me. Thank you guys so much for the wonderful letter.
@@KennyOfAllTrades Your Welcome kenny!! My husband is writing a new song dedicated for you and Toby for Toby's 1st Birthday, We look forward to your show every week and I can't wait to see what your cooking on the campfire, I love trying your recipes!! Have a great week and again Thank you so much for who you are. Jeremy & Jody
Starting patreon does feel weird, but one thing we have learned and others have told us, most people who want to support you just do so because they enjoy you as a person and love finding peace each week with you. It does feel strange but its not asking for money, just a way for the fans to show their appreciation and that quote from Will was perfect. Most who want to support just want to give and they don't expect anything in return. It is a blessing to both sides. Another good one!!
I appreciate the kind words.
Those smokeless fire pits are designed to work with smaller pieces of wood. You have the length right, the wood should not extend above the lip. The size of the wood will work better if it's slightly bigger around than what one would consider starter pieces. It will burn down to a cooking fire much faster. Yours is a nice size, I have used a bit smaller one in Algonquin Park when they had restrictions on any ground fires during a canoe trip. Portaging a bigger one was not an option. We used dead fall instead of cut wood and it worked great.
I think it's great that you will have Patreon available. For quite a while I have felt I was only taking without a way to give back. This will make me feel better for enjoying your hard work so much!
Thanks for that!
The scenery and sounds of that opening sequence really was beautiful! Kenny, I hope you know how much your videos mean to a LOT of folks. I get so much enjoyment out of you finding the perfect site (away from people!! a kindred spirit!!) and setting up camp and then just enjoying the outdoors. I always enjoy your meal prep and love seeing what you’re having each week. Please keep em coming!
PS Toby is SUCH a good boy!
I'm from Southern Minnesota around the Albert Lea area. I find it very interesting that you wilderness camp in Northern MN. I run across your channel by accident and I'm so glad I found it. You look like a God fearing person and treat Toby very well. Keep up the good work. God bless and be happy.
Love this journey we are all on. We appreciate your hard work Kenny!
Thanks! I appreciate the comment 😊
