Okay, after two weeks of use here's my feedback: The good: my wife did say that my snoring noise level was dropped by 95%. I did not experience any "soreness" in the a.m. with use. The bad: the device is very large, and I cannot fully close my mouth. Trying to fall asleep with this in my mouth was nearly impossible as it's like falling asleep with a compact vehicle in your mouth. The device makes me salivate and with the device in, it's very hard to swallow that "spit"...similar to not being able to swallow in the dentist's chair. I got this to have better sleep, and that just didn't happen. it did eliminate the snoring after I actually fell asleep, but that result does not outweigh lying in bed feeling like I may drown in my own spit.
Hey DT. Just got mine and you're right, it's pretty bulky. I took a file and shaved the sides down and that helped a lot! LOL! The only thing I'm wondering is how long until I need to replace it. I hear it does need to be replaced at some point. I have diagnosed moderate Apnea from a sleep study...
If it's of any help to you, the salivation stops after a few weeks of use. I have a very similar device that's discontinued now so looking at this SnoreRX. Keep using it, you definitely go through that salivation period, sleeping normally afterwards. Hard to believe at first but absolutely true.
After 3 years of using the SNORERX: 1. At first, yes it is difficult to get used to having this large mouthguard in your mouth. A. Salivation B. Lips getting chapped C. Jaw muscle soreness D. Caused a temporary disruption in my ability to maintain equilibrium. E. Even caused a couple days of vertigo. 2. After a couple of weeks I became comfortable with all of this, and all of that went away. 3. I do not snore now. 4. I must dial it at #3. A. That 3 mm length keeps my throat from closing, and causing sleep apnea. B. I cannot sleep without snorerx. C. I ALLWAYS get a good nights sleep. D. On weekends, it allows me to sleep in, sometimes to much. 5. They last me 6 to 8 months before they finally fall apart one morning, sometimes in my mouth. 6. SNORERX will only allow you to purchase 2 at a time. A. I am trying to build a collection of 25 snorerx's, because that is how many I think will last the rest of my life. B. We all know how some companies will suddenly disappear. C. Just in case this happens, I need a lifetime supply. D. If I didn't have snorerx, I fear that my lack of sleep will result in my untimely demise. E. As of right now, I have 8 snorerx's. This will get me to 2030. 7. If you're snoring, and it wakes you up all night... I recommend training yourself to live with the snorerx.
Woman here. 47 years old and I have TMJ. I do have three crowns in my mouth but they are well done. I have slept with this for the last three nights. I was a heavy snorer. My Sleepwatch app told me over 150 snores an hour last time I tracked it. Just using this piece at the 1mm setting has dropped it to less than one snore an hour in those three nights. First couple of nights my jaw ached but that is gone. Teeth soreness is definitely there as well like wearing braces. But that is also going away. It is a very large mouthpiece. But I sleep with lip balm on anyway. So no chapping. Definitely recommend this. Will be using the rest of my life.
SnoreX works...When it's working. I bought two mouthpieces by snorex and they worked great because I have mild OSA, and the mouthpieces worked better than my CPAP that's for sure. Woke up feeling refreshed every morning. But now the bottom part of both mouthpieces has fallen apart on both mouthpieces. I try to put the bottom piece back but it ends up coming off by the time I wake up. Both mouthpieces lasted me maybe 8 months. When that bottom piece slips out, I don't get as good of a night's sleep.
GREAT review! Comprehensive and gave me the info I needed. Thank you! I have now had my devices in use about one month. It was the perfect choice for me! The other would not have fit in my mouth.
I’ve had mine since January, and I’m still snoring because my top teeth will not stay snapped into the mouthpiece. The bottom teeth do however. Maybe I need to do a better job of setting the device when fitting.
Great review I use a CPAP at home and I’m looking for a mouthpiece for napping and road trips I do have moderate to severe gum issues do you think this is a good idea.
Does this possibly work if the snoring source seems to be a enlarged nasal turbinate and mild sleep apnea? Also if I use CPAP alone but snore RX Only with my partner a few days each month, will it be painful every time because I don’t use it regularly?
Omg I just bought this and IT WORKS GREAT!!!!! MY SNORING WAS SOOOO TERRIBLE ! 90% OF MY SNORING IS GONE!!! Fitting it to my teeth was very easy! I RECOMMEND THIS FOR SURE!
Going to try this because of the adjustability... I have an overbite, so the Zyppah put my bottom jaw way too far forward but did stop my snoring... the question.. is the "plus" worth almost twice the money??
My stuff is my mouth look like pool in the summer (instead humans is germs) Is such annoy wake up every time middle of the night let the pillow all wet and dirty, also if you had pattern is kinda awkward.
I'm assuming with a small mouth you probably only need to adjust 1mm or 2mm max? I can't imagine most people needing to extend this thing all the way out unless they have a severe overbite.
You're not using it correctly. 1. Boiling water in a cup. 2. Dip the snorerx into the water while it is still in the plastic handle for 60 SECONDS. 3. Take it out of the water using the plastic handle, paying attention to the UP/DOWN indicator, place it in your mouth, biting down moderately, for 30 SECONDS. Make sure your teeth are touching the front edge of the snorerx. 4. Then place it in a cup of cold water for 5 minutes. 5. Then, take it out of the water, and then REMOVE the snorerx from the plastic handle applicator. 6. Then, adjust the snorerx from 1 mm to 6 mm, whichever feels like its pulling your bottom jaw out, giving an underbite. I adjust mine to 3 mm. 7. Put it in your mouth right side up, showing the adjustments on either side reading as you would anything else. 8. It takes weeks yo get comfortable with this. 9. I keep mine in a bowl of hydrogen peroxide. WHY? Because I experimented with several storage ideas. A. Dry storage made it so my mouth got very sore. B. Water storage did the same. C. Mouthwash storage broke snorerx down early, but it wotked better than dry or water. D. I decided on hydrogen peroxide cuz snorerx lasted the longest. E. After storing in hydrogen peroxide, I thoroughly rinse snorerx with hot water. F. Then I gargle with the hydrogen peroxide to clean my mouth to hospital inspection level status.
No. I recommend using a breathright strip with snorerx every night. If your nose is congested all of time, and its difficult to breathe, you will snore. I also use Mucinex sinus-max. I gotta do ALL THAT, just so I can sleep. Started happening about 5 years ago. I prescribed all of this to myself. I am my own doctor.
Just got mine...and I'm skeptical that I will actually be able to fall asleep. The device is pretty large, not like a football mouthpiece at all. I've been told I have a big mouth, but I don't think this is what people meant. I'll review in a week or so with results.
This device did not work for me. I continued to snore night after night. When I tried to return the mouthpiece I could not reach customer service. I tried chat, email, and by phone (left messages) multiple times and never got anyone to respond. I suspect this is a scam. Sure, they offer a 30 day warranty but they wait you out until the warranty window has passed. Don't waste your money.
DO NOT BUY. It's actually the very worst mouthpiece I've ever used. It's extremely cheap material. The soft plastic was bitten through and the three separate pieces fell apart shortly after the 30 day window. It's terrible.
you did a great job. they need to pay you for this. And YES, their customer service SUCK.I ordered on their web and 2 wk later no response or item. Then I email, I got response but rude service/email. Pretty much if you can't wait we will send ur money back and go away faction. Yup if I did place sleeping important, I would go with diff route,

One of the best reviews I’ve ever viewed. Fantastic and thanks for doing the research and not just making it up ❤
This is an impressively delivered, polished presentation. Nice work.
so this just helps open the airway or it encourages mouth breathing?
Excellent review, very helpful. I will think about trying this product.
Oh, and you are absolutely stunning.

Great review. Lots of info. I’ll give it a try. Thank you.
It was so big I couldn't close my mouth. Had a hard time swallowing. Super dry throat in the morning. Sent it back after just two nights.
Another helpful video! We appreciate your channel:)

Exact same issue
How to fix this? Too stays for me but bottom piece detaches from my teeth in the middle of the night so doesn't work
You did not focus primarily on the difference between the plus or no plus product.
Great review I use a CPAP at home and I’m looking for a mouthpiece for napping and road trips I do have moderate to severe gum issues do you think this is a good idea.
Does it work for intermittent use? Or since you do not use it regularly, it’s painful each time?

Snore RX and Snore MD are the same? Just curious i see Snore MD in walmart. My problem is the lower retainer separates after few weeks of use.
Please am in Dubai and I really need it how will I go about it
I used this device for 2 hrs, my jaw has not felt the same since that time. So wish i had not tried it.
Please price I need one
$59.99 for one
$99 for the plus
How much are these…. I might buy him one for Christmas
I need to SEE the process. Keep looking, I guess.
Where can I buy this?
Can you use if I have one TMJ out of joint for 15+ yrs and having no pain. Just can’t open mouth as wide as normal people?
Do you sell in Europe??
Did anyone start having severe TMJ pain after using this? I didn’t for weeks then it started.
My jaw was destroyed after just the fitting process and 2 hrs of use.

I just used this and it did nothing to stop/reduce my snoring.
