In the early seventies I used to listen to Motown Soul and soon I discovered the Blues. Gradually my taste develloped and to me it's so natural to explore the rich world of music. Sonny Rollins caught my attention with a very beautiful version of " God bless the Child " ( recommend together with the vocal version of Billie Holiday ). People that is the most pure Blues you can find in Jazz. Brilliant ! The best version of Global Warming in my opinion is on a gig he did to commemorate 9/11.
