- Welcome to my version of “Chattanooga Choo Choo” composed in 1941 by Mack Gordon and Harry Warren. It was originally recorded as a big band/swing tune by Glenn Miller and His Orchestra and It was the first song to receive a gold record, presented by RCA Victor in 1942, for sales of 1.2 million copies.
My version based on the Shadows arrangement from the 1964 album "Dance With The Shadows" is my second version of this number which I initially uploaded in 2016.
This was recorded at the same time as my previous upload Rodrigues using my Zoom G3x into my Vox AC10.
Special thanks to my friends in the VHBL for another excellent backing track.

Great sound and visual. I haven't been to Chattanooga but I've been very close at Nashville. someday of covid-19 never gets cleaned up I might just go there if I'm still alive

Hi Neville, can't say one version is better played than the other, both are extremely well played. But I think I prefer the sound on this one, not exactly better, but a sound I really like.👍👍 I like the video too, it's great for a guy like me, having spent 15 or 20 years dreaming of building a model railroad...(No, I will not do that, but...)
