I bought one a year and a half ago have run 26,500 through it so far. and love it. the controls on the left are: bottom bar is for kings. 2nd bar for super kings and the top bar for 100s. Maintenance I preform is after every roll session, I use the scrub brush and clean out everything in the tube, I sweep the hopper and I lift the bar at bottom of hopper and sweep that out and then run the machine a few times empty to get all the dregs out. After your one year warranty expires, Take the machine apart and give a good cleaning and oiling. there are youtube vids about it out there. Oh yeah also, after awhile
the little plastic that hold down the tube while filling will not hold as well so, I just got some 3/8s shrink wrap and put it over it and heated it a bit and all is good you could also use small surgical tubing.
I use Cherokee black mixed with half a bag good stuff red with either top tubes or premium tubes. hope this helps.
Also if your cig is not packed good towards the filter, it is too wet. just place a tray of it in your fridge for about 20 mins. hope this all helps! Thanks for the video!!
Great info and tips. mine has rolled over 12,000 and still doing great. Saved me a ton of money
@@NuffinEdited Thanks!
2:42 _"You slide the tube on - Mmm! Done deal"_ Something about that delivery got me 🤣 I was browsing UA-cam reviews of this machine before making my decision on which electronic injector to go with, but after this one I ordered a PM3+ to start making my own after I did the math and realized I could be spending a *FRACTION* of the price going the MYO route. Not only is it much cheaper and not soaked in dozens of carcinogenic chemicals, but I can customize the tobacco flavors and style of tubes to my liking! This thing will pay for itself very quickly.
Truth 3 cartons and it pays for itself. I've rolled over 8000 so far still going strong. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving
@@NuffinEdited I got my new PM3+ two days ago and it is an absolutely amazing machine! It costs a pretty penny, but having it automatically pack down the tobacco as well as injecting tubes is extremely convenient, especially when I'm new to this and was worried that learning how to manually pack it in would just be frustrating and discouraging after repeated failures. The machine seems to prefer tobacco on the drier side, so I had to do a bit of drying with my fresh bag of Smoker's Pride, but now that I'm getting the hang of things it's an absolute champ 💪🏆
Thank you so much for this video demonstration! It's what convinced me to make the leap and purchase this.
I use ohm red tobacco which is kind of stringier than some tobacco and find that the machine has to cycle too many times. I bought a toastmaster salsa maker with two cutting blades for two bucks at a garage sale. I put my tobacco in that and give it a couple of pulses, and my machine usually only cycles two or three times when rolling a cigarette. It makes a big difference.
I bought the ohm red as well I found it has way to many sticks and twigs in it. I put a couple of hand full of tobacco in a container and let it sit over night and crush it in my hands to make it break up. But I really like your idea. Thanks
You're right about the setting use the center setting top is too tight bottom is too loose.
Thank you I've roll over 6K that way
I have the powermatic 4. I'm so fast at rolling my own I can roll enough for my wife and I for three days in an hour. You just need good hand eye coordination.
Good deal I own the 3 and the 4 the 3 is a much better machine all the way around IMHO
Nice review Nuffin. Hope you have a blessed day and weekend my friend.
You as well my friend
Does the cherry fall off?
No
Cool video! I need this machine!😊
You won't regret buying it
I hope you are doing well my friend. I think if you use compressed air would do a good job for cleaning. Thank you
Thank you for the tip, hope all is well you
Have had mine for 3-4 years and cannot recommend it enough. Costs me about $13 per carton vs $45-$50 for generics. Pays for itself in about 6-7 cartons. Only takes about 5 mins to roll 50-60 smokes.
I agree I love mine, cost me about 5 bucks a carton compared to $65-$80 . Does pay for it's self I've rolled nearly 16K cigs so far
@@NuffinEdited Where are you getting supplies that cheap? A bag of decent tobacco costs about $18-20 and is enough for 2 cartons. Two cartons of tubes are about $5. That makes it about $12.50 per caton at best.
Tobacco is from $11.99 pipesandcigars.com tubes from by local cig store for 2 bucks
@@NuffinEdited I haven't seen a place yet with free shipping and that usually eats up most of the savings from buying it local. I pay about $18 locally for a 16oz bag. That along with 2 cartons of tubes ($2 each) = $22 + tax = $24 for two cartons or $12 per carton. Even without tax or shipping yours as $11.99 + 2 cartons of tubes would be $8 per carton.
$7.00 for four 1 pound bags. The stores here sell it for $40 per pound. So I'm saving a ton of money.
Hi Nuffin. Thanks for the nice review. Do you think that American Club tobacco will work in that machine? It's a nice dry tobacco but medium length cut I would say.
I use 752 tobacco it isn't to dry plus it's a medium cut as well so far no problems. It's the only type I've tried in this machine and I'm nearing 1000 rolled to date
Cigs are very expensive and i'm sure you will save money making you own and pay for the machine quite fast. have a Blessed weekend Nuffin
Yes Ma'am once it has rolled 3 cartons I have my money back. Happy weekend Judy
Nice way to save some money. Thanks for sharing.
It sure is have a great Sunday
Sehr schönes Video. 👍
Thank you
good review , I would sure buy one if i smoked cigs still lol
Even though it cost me $200 it's worth the money. By the time I roll 3 cartons it will have already paid for itself
@@NuffinEdited yes my friend it sure will be worth it
It's so easy to use I rolled 40 cigs in less then 10 minutes
So you still have to add a tube filter for every cigarette you make? One by one? I dont know for $200 dollars that its kinds dumb to me that you have to add tube by tube for each individual cigarette! Unless its hard for you to pull the lever manually or you have pains or weakness then id personally just buy the mikromatic manual tobacco machine for $43 dollars. Can do it quicker than that machine also...just strange to me that nobody makes a all automatic machine where you add the tobacco and filter and hit start...ive found one fully automatic on ebay from Europe and it was close to $500 dollars!
Fully automatic? For Only $500? That's cheap the cheapest one here is 2 grand. It's rather dumb if you don't buy it
Cool 😎💙💃💃💃
Thanks Hun I love this machine
First
Thank you
What happens when spoon I'd stuck?
😊😀😁
