I do want to get her because of how pretty and detailed she is.. but nothing about her really "screams" collector for me.. maybe it was a last minute decision to call her a holiday doll??
Or they are starting to cut content for the dolls.. The apparently new shadow high series 2 dont seem to have a second outfit but a few accesories, María García is a collector but doesnt have another outfit and costed a bit more than the previous collector (although she is a bit more interesting for collecting than roxi imo).. I dont know, maybe its what you said and they decided in the last moment, or, i hope not, but they are starting to cut things and still putting the same prices

@@youtubewontletme yeah I agree they have been cutting corners... like with costume ball as well I mean $40 for 1 doll and 1 outfit.. sure 🤨 also I think the fact that they're cutting 2nd outfits could be because of the new fashion packs because they want to make more money by selling them seperate... T_T I hope they change that though, but tbh I think they're getting money hungry

I love her saddle stand...its perfect for her dress ...with this stand you can do a total 360 and see it in all its glory ...just remove the longer post from the base ...all you need is the saddle part and leg clips ...brilliant ♥️

I WAS SO CONFUSED BY THE SHOES FOR A MINUTE I thought it was like one of those old bratz (especially the Boyz) dolls where their combs and stuff are just loose in the box but then I realized they were MH shoes SJAHSVX

The stand looks like something a gynecologist would use. A thing I noticed is only the white Shadow High stands don't want to stay together. They come apart when I take the dolls off the shelf. I might get her if she gets very cheap. Like I just got Kia Hart for under $10.

If you haven't got her yet she's like 50% off on Amazon in the US rn. I like her okay enough but she doesn't stand out enough for me to really want her (but I'll probably regret that in a few years lol!)
@April Unwell I just bought a feather boa for her for like two dollars at a fabric store. Just thought i drag her up a bit. Don't know why MGA couldn't do the same. They had fur that would have been perfect if it wasn't brown.
While I think her hair and face are both very pretty, the clothing and lack of interesting accessories makes this doll a bit disappointing, especially for the price point. There should’ve been fur, there should’ve been a coat, gloves, something more. Possibly even a whole second outfit
A cute white suit with white fur trim would have been great as a second outfit.

I think she's so pretty but something I find really funny is that she's a collector doll (thus people will typically keep her in box) but all of the Roxies I've seen in person have really foggy plastic in their display 😅

It seems like the really expected collectors to keep her in the box and that it was part of the price point. I think it would have been cool if they released another version with a regular box for people who aren’t in box collectors. I think the box looks really cool, but I just don’t have space in my collection to keep my dolls in box!

Just got her on sale. She is so pretty. Good idea adding something, a cape or stole which agree they should have done. I was thinking of actually taking her out and restyling her hair and putting her back in the box. I actually like the box. I usually never keep my dolls in their boxes.
I sometimes don't have the opportunity to buy new releases right away . I only recently got Roxy . I usually go through reviews on certain dolls im looking at before I buy them. I love being able to come back to the videos to use as a reference.

The stand is UNREAL I cant make out how to use it at all... I can't see how her calves go in those hands cuff bits, I thought maybe the seat bit went between her legs so you didn't see the stand around her waist, but then the dress doesn't fit 🤔 and the little feet groves 😳 what the hell....

The fact that this doll came out at double the price of the rainbow divas is a crime. They were banking on people seeing 'holiday edition' and jumping on it. All of the rainbow divas dresses are prettier/more detailed than this, they have a huge amount of accessories, a second outfit, and were half the price.
I got her on sale. I wasn’t paying full price. I think she is ok. I basically got her just for my collection. I haven’t gotten Maria because I really don’t care for her at all.
Idk but it feels like shes missing something like the design,she needs 2nd outfit tho and accessories but the thing i hate on this doll is the box and especially THE STAND FROM THE HORROR MOVIE.
The box definitely was fit for a huge gown, not a mermaid style one🥲

She has a very pretty face.I love her pastel eye makeup & her eyes! I don't care for her earrings either. I would replace them with some long drop rhinestones ( looks like a simple line of rhinestones). I think she would look really good with a white fur stole.I don't like tinsel hair either. The fabric is probably color shift fabric. I have bought some to make doll clothes. Not this color. I think her shoes are very pretty.Her price is still kind of high in my local stores.

I would get her on sale just for her dress and jewelry to put on one of my favorite dolls( don't know which one yet) as for the doll herself I don't care I'll just put her in an outfit I don't want and give her up for donation.

The dolls are beautiful a tad bit pricey $20-40. It can be more expensive if you don't live in America. Besides that you should totally get them.
Almost every doll they release is worth it's price but most people don't think about materials and construction, so they're always calling this line "overpriced." Though try buying them in store so you can see the doll beforehand because sometimes their paint can be messy.
I recommend rainbowvision tbh!
