I used to have a 1996 Honda Civic DX a k a " bubble back" that looked exactly like this car. It was the first time that honda used their Eco- Tech Engine and it got like 42 miles to the gallon on the highway and 32 City LOL it was a super light and fun car.
The EP3 is cool but it's nowhere near as good as the older ones like the ek9 because it doesnt have double wishbone suspension, just regular struts. But the k20 is still a great engine
J M I’ve driven both and I have to disagree. The ep is no slouch at all. Sure it doesn’t have double wishbone but the type r suspension matched with the k20 and lsd get the job done. Plus I plan on fitting a full spoon suspension kit on it anyway so it’ll handle like a champ. The ek is amazing but very much a bet norms style feel which is great for racing but not everyday driving which is where the ep gets the edge for me. That being said there is this theft recovery Integra Type R I’ve been eyeing that would be a perfect candidate for a kswap as the b18 was taken along with the wheels suspension brakes and interior lol. That to me would be the perfect marriage for an everyday driving Honda performance car.

After renting an ek9 type R in Japan I’ve been counting the days till we can import them. And even further for the ep3 😩
