I wanted to start this series, but the negative comments on it were so overbearing and loud. Even though I enjoyed the first volume of the manga, I didn't start the series until a few years ago when opening 4 was in my recommendations. I loved it and it got me re-interested in the series. Opening 10 is when I decided to start buying the rest of the manga. XD Just don't let the negative comments affect you like I did. This series is a masterpiece. The author's health has been very poor as of late and he had a mental breakdown over not being able to meet deadlines. He is taking a break before preparing for the final chapters. I, for one, will wait as long as he needs me to. I have to play catch up anyway-
The manga is ongoing, most recent one was this week - he took a small month hiatus though early last year. Still the manga is getting better and better.

nop it's not like naruto and sasuke , it;s like asta and yuno :) , bcs they have different type of rivalry kinda , they don't hate each other at any point so far , and also they respect it's other , they even grew up together and the most important they are dreaming together the same thing , unlike sasuke who wanted to get revenge lol that was his dream , they are just a new category , they are asta and yuno , naruto and sasuke done

Naruto and Sasuke are a pretty toxic rivalry where Asta and Yuno are actually a pretty positive one. Plus Asta's more a Monkey D. Luffy type of MC. To anyone seeing this and thinki g of watching it be aware the MC's V.A. starts out super rough but does start improving after Ep. 4 and in time gets pretty darn good.

In one series one chases the other like an abused girlfriend while the other wants to kill him and the other series one wouldn't care less if the other committed suicide from the slew of mental issues he gave him. Those aren't rivalries they're just antagonistic relationships, an actual rival is a lot less toxic
