Daryle was a great old-school country singer. Something we need more of. He left us way too soon, but God has his time to call us home. Love the old country music. God blees them. Dan 🇺🇸
I was a amateur country singer back in the 90's. I sang at the "Opry Halls" around Texas. Daryl came to my hometown of Weatherford, TX and I went to see him. I told him I was a singer myself not trying to make it a profession but for the love of the music and how much I enjoyed his music. He sat and talked with me for a long time just like I was his equal. We had something in common and that was the love of performing and country music. I will never forget that and may he rest in peace.
So thankful I was able to meet him and tell him how much his music meant to me before he passed. I was so saddened when I got the news that he was gone. If Nashville was the way it should be, there’d be a statue of him. One of the greatest ever
I love this song for him of Daryl sanitary reminds me of my ex-watch Sabrina I let her lie cuz I didn't want to lose her but I still let her lie but I still love her to this day and I will take her back in a heartbeat cuz she's my one and only and I love her for what it's worth Sabrina I love you Sabrina for what it's worth I love and miss you and our kids you all mean the world to me and I hope someday you'll come back forever love and truly yours Daddy
Great song and beautifully sung❤ Nothing says home than the aroma of good homecooking stew cooking in the crock pot and Sun soaked sheets when you climb into bed at night.❤
In my opinion this song was the country version of Hootie and the Blowfish's "Let Her Cry". Hootie's song was first in 1994 and Daryle's was in 1995. Both are excellent songs.
Seems I'm always busy out here in the hustle and bustle of the West. This music takes me back to the hog farm in Iowa. Best times of my life. Gets me thinking if the money's really worth it, or if I need to get back home. Simpler and slower way of life is priceless.
Daryle could get out of bed and sound like he had been warming ip for an hour. He was a great man, father, and friend. Miss ya buddy. Save me a seat up there✊🏼
Thanks Rory for all the good things you did for Joey. Glad you Found a new Wife.Thats what Joey would have wanted.you to do.I wish.you a happy future ..God bless you and family.
@@NortheastSurvival911 funny you mentioned Conway. I just watched a video with him, and I was recalling watching the news reports the day he passed away.
One of country's greats . that the country music Association never gave credit to this man but they put worthless. Singers in the hall of fame that don't know how to sing a note .like the Florida Georgia line .
So correct me if I'm mistaken but...... Wasn't this originally a George Jones song? I know it's been around for a long long time. There are several that have tried and failed epically to get this song done the right way. When I heard his version of I'd love to lay you down..... I didn't know it was him...... I thought it was like some unreleased Conway from long ago. His covering of songs was just epic. That John Denver song take me home country roads..... Singletary did it better.
What a great song and a fantastic singer. Daryle was one of the best country music artists of all time. Gone too soon!

Such a talented singer.
Old school music ❤ I love it.
Keep on going Moe!!! we got to have more like you or we’re gonna lose country music altogether! Thank you son. God bless Mo Pitney.
It brought tears to my tears, the news of his passing. What a great singer and this, in my opinion, is one of his very best.
I smelled my old house hearing this. Talk about memories
I loved his singing and I miss his music.
Miss our chats buddy! Turkey season is never the same without double barrel Daryle! Keep heaven country buddy!
Goodness what a voice, miss him. Real country music.
I wish he was still here. What a voice!
His voice is close to Keith Whitley’s so definitely legend status!
Just noticed Vern Gosdin signature on his guitar. One voice to another.
Always loved his music, RIP! He will live on forever through his music! ✌️
Yeah, this guy was really good, sorry I wasn't more aware of him before he passed. Such a great classic country voice, rip Daryle..
a truly natural voice,...and a man who knew how to use it.

Listen to the pain while he is singing
This still breaks my heart 😢
Probably in the top 5 of the greatest voices in country music. up there with Keith Whitley, Merle Haggard and George Jones... In my opinion
Great singer, surely a huge loss for country music,🙏🙏🙏💕💕

Daryle was great
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great job kiddos.
Strange seeing him on stage with Jimmy Capps. They’re both gone.
Great stuff! The song too!
@00:20 That looks a lot like George Strait's longtime backup singer Marty Slayton? She's gorgeous and a great singer. 🤔
wow, love this
RIP 💔
Woooooo! The song should be on the Mt. Rushmore for simp songs.
Country musics biggest loss.
Right along with Hank Williams Senior and Conway twitty.
@@NortheastSurvival911 funny you mentioned Conway. I just watched a video with him, and I was recalling watching the news reports the day he passed away.
And Keith Whitley @@NortheastSurvival911
You're missed.
A great singer, and a sexy man.
GOD HAD OTHER PLANS FOR THIS ANGEL.... 😢
