He was very good and his voice is one of the all time best. I remember when I first heard him sing shocked me. I didn't expect that voice to come out of him. I thought he would have a high pitch voice. We miss all miss you Daryle
I've been a fan of his since I was 12 years old. I'm 34 now. I never met him, but I feel like I just lost a good friend. I listen to his music all the time, and he's an artist that never strayed from his traditional country roots. My heart breaks for his family, but I hope they find peace in knowing he's in Heaven now. Rest in peace Daryle, your legacy will live on!
OMG how did I miss this until today, ONE OF THE VERY BEST AND SO VERY YOUNG HAS GONE TO JOIN ALL OF THE GREATS THAT HAVE GONE BEFORE HIM..... GOD BLESS my prayers to his wife, 4 children and entire family & friends.......
Heaven has gained a Angel, our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. We will never forget you.Rest in Peace our Dear and Presious Friend.

Damn good guy I met him few years ago at The Midnight Jamboree here in Nashville TN he had a voice like no other God Bless his family band and many of fans during his passing this morning.
On this day in 1996 {February 23rd} "Amen Kind of Love" by Daryle Singletary peaked at #2 {for 1 week} on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart, for the week it was at #2, the #1 record for that week was "Running Out of Reason To Run" by Rick Trevino... "Amen Kind of Love" also reached #2 on the Canadian RPM Country Tracks chart... Between 1995 and 2002 the Cairo, Georgia native had fourteen records on the Hot Country Singles chart, three made the Top 10 with his two biggest hits both peaking at #2, I Let Her Lie" for one week in November of 1995, and the above "Amen Kind of Love"... Besides his two #2 records, his third Top 10 record was "Too Much Fun" {#4 in 1995}... Sadly, Daryle Bruce Singletary passed away at the young age of 46 on February 12th, 2018 {blood clot}... May he R.I.P. And from the 'For What It's Worth' department, the remainder of Hot Country Singles' Top 10 on February 23rd, 1996: At #3. "A Man This Lonely" by Brooks and Dunn #4. "Pretty Little Adriana" by Vince Gill #5. "We Danced Anyway" by Deana Carter #6. "Me Too" by Toby Keith #7. "Unchained Melody" by Leann Rimes #8. "Half Way Up" by Clint Black #9. "She Drew A Broken Heart" by Patty Loveless #10. "Were Corn Don't Grow" by Travis Tritt
Why oh why, that question goes unanswered, I hope we all get the answer on flip side, he will be missed. I love his music, at least we still have that. Praying for his family and friends. Sing on Daryle!
Daryle grew up in Whigham Ga he would hang out in the Circle K store and play his Guitar and ask Miss Connie do you need your cooler done or garbage taken out he was an Awesome young man I will miss him RIP Daryle your very loved
Although he was living in Lebanon TN at the time, he was originally from Commanche Tx. I was living nearby in Rising Star back when he got married and all those little small town folks didn't know what to think when singers like Hal Ketchum showed up in that huge tour bus to attend his wedding. It was quite a thrill for a bit of Nashville to come to Texas. I'd met Daryl there a few times and years later when I walked up to him while he was playing in Roberts Lounge, in Nashville, just to say hello. The look of shock on his face was priceless! It really blew his mind! He was like, man this is crazy, how in the world did you end up being here? We hung out for the rest of the night and although he tried several times to get me on stage, I politely declined. I was uncomfortable without my own guitar. A mistake I truly regret, for it was the last time I saw him. What I liked about Daryl, was he stayed 100% real. Fame & success never changed him, which is something that can't be said about a lot of others.
Too bad that traditional country is no longer being produced in Nashville and as few of the traditional country does get produced, it not as well produced like it was in the 1970s and 1980s.
Another Great Country Singer that will never be forgotten....Go with God Daryle. :(
