  • What is Baby Sleep Regression?
    Baby sleep regression happens when a baby that once slept very well, now suddenly starts waking up, and finds it hard to stay asleep.
    This is a Natural part of your child's growth, so there's no need to worry.

    BABY MILESTONES.
    2 months: babies start to follow things with their eyes, and also begin to
    smile more often.
    3-4 months: at this time a babies should be able to develop stronger neck muscles, start lifting their heads, and grasping & playing with toys.
    Our bodies get tired whenever we overuse it and babies' necks can get tired and achy during sleep.
    Parenting Advice: Gently massaging the babies' neck before bed can help them sleep better and longer.
    6 months: babies start babbling, they can recognize and respond to different emotions, and remember different faces.
    They also may be able to roll on their stomach and their backs.
    9 months: babies start to develop understandings for certain small words like; * Hey, come, no, bye bye *
    12 months: babies start developing the ability to say words, start walking, they also develop the ability to play and use their hands and feet better.
    18 months: babies begin to independently walk on their own, develop the ability to run, and speak in shorter sentences.
    ADVICE FOR PARENTS: its best to remain patient with your child and also introduce different sounds, sleep positions, and strategies to help your baby to sleep better and longer in these trying times.
    1. Develop a sleep routine for your baby and stay consistent so that your baby can get used to this pattern of behavior.
    2. Use multiple baby sleep sounds such as White noise for babies, Rain sounds, forest sounds, sounds of Wind, and Ocean waves sounds, airplane sounds and fan noise.
    3. Keep a dark room, cool temperature room with clean air and comfy blankets and be sure to monitor your baby's daytime naps so they don't sleep too much during the daytime.
