True story: I put those drums together in 07 at Colts and drummed on them for most of that summer. Colts used them again in 08. Made me very happy to see those drums in this show getting a gold medal. Also, Pulse drummed way better on em… obviously. Ha

Favorite show of all time. Made me want to do drumline. That closer quad break CUTS from the beginning pickup shot. That roll at the end of the break is iconic too. Can’t get enough of this show 🔥

I’d love to see Manny come back and talk drum corps (SCV, Lot warm ups, BD)
    -Great video once again!

Fun Fact: That Worth The Wait floor is still in use today as a practice floor for POW. It was used at Pulse until at least 2017 if not longer.
Love this show and all of the lore and history that is behind it

Haha that’s a pretty long life for an indoor tarp.

This was the cleanest finals run I’ve ever seen front to back.

Random video recommendation: the evolution of modern marching technique. It's clear that in earlier years, groups played a bit harsher as compared to groups now. I think it'd be cool to see how technique has really changed over the years!
Side note: this group was crazy

drumset rim shot at 24:21 goes nuts

I have no idea why they wrote a single above-head spock shot re-entrance for the quad break at 20:04, with nothing but the crowd cheers hopefully covering it
but I know I'd be pissing my pants before each show about it

    here's the thing...
Pulse 2010 snareline was the cleanest I've heard. I'm tellin' ya... not a single tick during that finals lot.

For clarification, I was really only talking about the body and the choreo hasn’t evolved. Which I do think is fairly accurate, plus there’s only so much we can do while wearing a drum. The playing and arranging has obviously evolved over time.
