Whoa, you made it all the way down here! Thank you ♥️ Love you
"From Hive to Bottle" is still my favorite David Burns video. It took a long time to make, but it explains the complete process.
"The Green Chair!" Wisdom while sitting.
David i understand what you are saying. But i can't beleave anyone could say anything bad about you. You go out of your way to help us all
I like your green shirt and everything you say
I have a question. I treated in August 11 th for 14 days. When should I treat for winter and when and what treatments should I use. Thanks
This is my 3rd year of beekeeping. I "had" 3 colonies. One was a strong swarm that just moved into a dead-out. The 2nd was a split from that. The 3rd was a package from last year. The package bees have always been weak, but they recently died, and the hive was filled with wax moths and larvae. I just separated the boxes and turned them on their sides, and left them to air out. They smell so bad. I don't know what to do next. Are the frames and comb salvageable? Sorry for the long winded question.
Green shirt AND Green chair ? 🤯
Camouflage 😁🐝👍
Could you please comment on the fluid dynamics of glass mason jar top feeders and temperature swings. Should I worry about drowning bees in sugar water?
@lshadowens1416 had a problem with that earlier this year, but guessing it was micro cracks in the glass. Threw all the jars away and problem was solved.
I'm from South Africa and keep Scutellata bees. My bees are not aggressive at all.
A bug in your water is nothing but protein lol
Since I put them outside featuring one to one sugar water I could definitely see the size difference in the Hypebeast in the Robbies the Robert visas so much skinnier and the abdomen is pointy
My bees absconded a few days ago.....i found some black beetles in the hive but didn't look like it over run the hive. Probably about 20-25 scattered about. Do you think that was the reason they left?
Hard to say, but sounds like a strong possibility. Sorry to hear that!
Thank you. This was our ( my girlfriend & I) 1st season for bee keeping. Still learning..Sad we lost them.😢
I don’t like wood boxes at all there is no insulated properties to them nothing like a tree I know a 6 inch thick tree has a R value of 8.9
Do we need tickets beekmeet 2025 or is it a just show up deal?
I assume you'll need tickets, and they registration will open in the fall, so any day now.
Ok thanks, I'll keep checking on it
A respectful correction -
tor·por
/ˈtôrpər/
noun
a state of physical or mental inactivity; lethargy.
"they veered between apathetic torpor and hysterical fanaticism"
You missed an, "R" in there with the spelling...
Right on, my bad
