Hi Eivind, sorry to ask such a boring question but which fly do you fish with most often /is most successful for you? Thanks for the vids, they are very entertaining and full of great tips. Shaka boom! Haha!
@@stephenprice9120 I must say Vaskebjørn size 6. Next after that an Orange Lady size 4 and a fluorescent orange/brown scud size 6. Just ask my friend, I will always answer 🙌🙏🙌
@@Mrfluefiske Hi Eidvind, I just had a few hours fishing on the coast and caught 2 lovely sea trout with this pattern. I used a slightly different colour - fiery ginger seals fur with a little bit of sunburst mixed in. It looks like molten lava! Thanks for the video. Nothing is quite like seal's fur
Great video. Thank you for the excellent explanations. You use a TMC 2457 which is a great hook but not specifically for saltwater conditions. Isn't that a problem? Do you fish them barbless? Keep up the great work 👍
Hi. I always run my flies through fresh water after I use them in saltwater and never ever do I put them straight back in the box after I use them. The hook works great with the barb pinched down.
Hi! Nice educational and entertaining vid as usual! Sad to see that Hololoppa didnt make it in the box. It's one of the few flies (that someone else created) that has a permanent seat in my box! Keep up the good work!
Hi. Not if you rinse the fly after use in saltwater and don't put it back in the box if you change flies during fishing. All the best, Eivind Berulfsen.
@@96MayflyI’ve used this hook for more than two decades. Biggest fish caught on it is over 2 kg. So the hook works great. Ahrex NS 172 curved gammarus works, I just don’t like it.
Zeko Kasu Hi. I use these smaller flies when I fish at spots I know there is scuds. If a fish constantly follows a bigger fly I change to one of these smaller scuds and the fish usually strikes. They also works great close to the shoreline and bays.
AreFarmen Hei Are. Ja, Krampa har jeg sluttet med. Den er så lik Dark Olive Loppa at jeg ser ikke vitsen med å ha dem begge. Siden Loppa er enklest og billigst å binde, velger jeg den.
Good to see you again eivind , have a great year!
nick p Thanks Nick.
Wow what an awesome lesson and I love this pattern and colors. Now I wait to see what that piece you have glued on your vise.
Thank you sir
Hi Jimmy. Thank you. I use the litte piece to hold open my dubbing loop before I put inn the materials. I will show you In an upcoming video.
At last a new video. Thanks - and happy new year 😀
Mads Man Perfect time to tie some flies. Happy new year Mads. All the best, Eivind Berulfsen.
More great flies, my fly box is filling up :) do you normally fish 1 or 2 flies?
Thank you. Nope, one fly.

Mikael Ingvarsson Hi. Thank you so much. Holoppa is coming! I’ve tied it with a “new” dubbing. It’s not out of the box. All the best, Eivind B.

Hei eivind
Har du slutta å fiske med klympen? Liker du bedre denne orange loppa?
Mvh eivind
Pattegrisen Hei.
