Tempering: Maybe have the option to keep the last temper? Or maybe reduce the chance to get the same temper again. It just feels bad, when you get 4x the same wrong temperstat in a row.
reduce affix count for certain manuals, split up stuff like resistances (can overlap, why not?), should be 3 affixes mostly, 4 max add a uncommon drop from NMD reward chests. rarity scales exponentially with NMD level (e.g T1 0.25%, T50 5%, T90 12.5%, T100 40%) it's a consumable item that allows to temper once more BUT has a 20% chance to negatively crit a random stat (reverse masterworking) and a 10% chance to completely trash the item. play a horrible sound.
Maybe when it rolls again it only rolls from the remaining 3 not including the one you already are on but then you couldn't re roll for a higher roll of what you already have so idk

Perhaps something like profane mindcage but for whispers. Or they just commit to the idea that whisper areas are just made to be more fun with buffed density when active @@tweezerd
There's actually two ways you can brick your item: The first one is with gold with enchanting, after so many rolls if you don't have the roll you want, then it's considered bricked because gold is so scarce and to reroll is just too high. THEN you have to temper it. I do like what Dieoxide said, I think that we should have 5 tries per temper and not five across the board. Because of the mechanic where you can literally roll the same temper 5 times in a row, or if you spent 4 and finally got one temper, now you only have 1 chance to get the other temper, and that just does not feel good.
On the tempering argument, the best solution is to give you a preview/lock the item . It's what they did in D3 and it allowed you to not brick the item. Speaking as a casual gamer, to lose out on an item because you got a worthless stat, is a horrible feeling .
For the tempering I think having the option to keep the last temper like the enchant system is a must and then add a pitty system by choosing 1 temper and if you don't get it you got more chance to get it next time ( to avoid getting 5 times the same bad one in a row)
Grinding whispers would be less of an issue if every offer had a Chaos Cache, OR if every Cache had the same gold offering as the chaos. Possibly even increase though. But 10mil from a whisper run is, ok I suppose.
This is how I think the gold and whisper issue can be solved. Change the tree of whispers into a vender and change the whispers into a current. This removes the 10 whisper limit so you can blast and then collect separately. The pain in whispers is having to go back in the middle of getting whispers because you are capped. Allow me a cap similar to obels. Then when I go to the vendor they should give me a chest of the category that I choose and it has a change when I purchase to be greater or not. Now add a cache for Gems, Boss Matts, and Gold.
The problem you describe about group finder for console is true, but it's not a total barrier this can be solved with UI. Other games do it. "What activity do you want to do?" Then just have a few filter boxes to pick from. From there display the list and pick who you want.
1. make helltide whispers objectives stronger and more plentiful. we do not want to slay 250x Stalkers on 1 subzone for 1/10 whispers progression 2. make all dungeons possible for whispers. give NM keys with active whispers a glow in the inventory. 3. keep whispers as the premium gold faucet. add a bonus bonus bonus whispers cache 4. de-incentivice selling items completely. i don't have a real solution for this one
For sure those helltide whisper quests are a joke other than the one for 5 whispers for killing the blood maiden i ignore them unless there are normal whispers in the helltide and i do them incidentally
Building on what DM was saying about fixing tempers by earning a resource at high level pits. What if you could use this currency to remove one of the stats (of your choice) from the tempering pool, then use 3 times the currency to remove two of the stats, 9 currency to remove 3 stats, etc. Then if you grind enough of this hard to earn currency you could essentially remove all the stats from that tempering pool you don't want but the % on the one you do want is still random.
For tempering what if on your 5th roll you have the option to pick the one you want but if you do pick you get the minimum roll. Then at least you get something useful.
Tempering suggestion: To avoid situation where You can brick an item even on the low levels, I would like to see and option for small risk and smal reward. Right now we have 3 grades of tempering manuals where only difference is % range. It would be cool to see "common white" tempering manuals with only one afix to print but with very small stat % range. Going this route we would have: Common - 1 stat, Magic - 2 stats, Rare - 3 stats, Legendary - 4+ stats. In this way You can chose the amount of risk and reward.
Two scrolls. One reverts your build to the prior build, the other allows you to swap to a loadout. You get like 6 scrolls of the first (season journey) the second you get like 3 and they have a cooldown of 4 hours per use. Maybe you can get the loadout swap scroll as a very rare drop from tormented bosses and are tradable.
On the gold issue, Blizzard could use Greed shrines more in Helltides. For example, have greed shrines placed near each Baneful Hearts ritual location with an extended duration on greed shrine effects. Or have a potion that can increase the value amount on gold drops for 10 minute duration.
Make glyphs account wide, make the map open account wide during the season, just add more gold from all sources,or add portals in nm dungeons that go to a goblin zone like in d3, or something of the sort.
When you get identical drops for runs in a row and get flickerstep then you know casuals who can’t live the game are in trouble. I’ve done fifty or so runs with no Uber drops.
Are you doing tormented andariel or duriel. Because tormented lower bosses I think have a very low drop rate to start so multiplying that by 5 does not do much.
My brother and I did 6-8 and we got a total of 3, visage grandfather and melted. Seems to be a much higher chance to get them and now you can dismantle them for material if it's one you don't want/need
I tried speed running to WT4 last night, did like 5 NMDs in WT3 and then switched to WT4, so maybe a half hour. Basically got a sacred weapon, maxed out my fire res, and killed Elias at 52 on my alt Rogue. Took me just over 3 hours to get to WT4 and level 60.
Add a gold monster in pvp zone so its high risk high rewards and gets way more people and party’s to visit zones. It would be some sick wars and content.
Another issue is the fact that we can't swap between a cutthroat build and a marksman build, so if we temper a GG cut throat weapon, it is quite literally scrap unless you create an entire new rogue. I don't want to level more than 1 of any class each season.
Add a **extremely very** rare account bound consumable that can drop from nightmare dungens and it can reset the tempers of an item. Reduce the number of living steel in helltide by 25%, and add a 5M gold chest for 500 cinders. Keep Iron Wolves for the future.
There needs to be a crafting feature for whites and magics to craft up rarities for random stat procs and make whites and magics more wearable in the earleir levels.
I don’t know why this never gets mentioned but they need to fix uber lilith loot. Like it’s still the hardest boss and it drops 2 legendaries. Why not do something special lile make it drop guaranteed greater affix loot. Would be a great farm for end game
@bosendorfer6268 a) you get a spark for killing her b) it's ment to be more of an aspirational content (which is totally fine in my opinion ^^) and I'm glad she is finally a bit of a challenge again =)
Go play a competitive game. There’s plenty of them out there. This game doesn’t need to be one, and your suggestions are just wasting 99% of players time. Go play the gauntlet. That game mode so so popular right?
I’m a casual player, and am super thankful I got a tempest roar pretty quickly leveling up, I just wanna have fun we shouldn’t be gatekeeping low level items, maybe in higher difficulties
Speaking of itemization, I’m not sure of the drop rate for greater affixes, but I had a helm drop with 3 greater affixes on it. Sadly, 2/3 were undesirable stats, but I wasn’t even aware that was a thing until then.
Played Hardcore for the first time. And the Barbarian for the first time. Made it to level 63 and I’m not even mad. It was too fun so I started a regular version and crushing it
To those who hate running NMD for glyph xp. Start at level 70; check the maxroll glyph leveling tier list; only run NMD in A and B (or C if you're running low on sigil dust) and do them as high of level as you possibly can. Once you hit tier 41, all the gear drops will be 925 and you get a ton of glyph XP. I can max 6-7 glyphs in one afternoon doing it this way and it's a nice break from running helltide up to level 70.
Only in an hour, so far, but i like, hearing all your thoughts. Thanks !Plus, you guys make my waiting time in hospital way better. So thank you for that as well. 😊
I agree that the activities I do right now feel well balanced and I don’t feel pressure at all really to do certain things. So when I NEED to do something for what it provides I’m totally okay doing it because I haven’t already beeen doing it because I had to for other things ya know. I play probably 25 hours a week so idk if I’m casual or not but I don’t think I am really. Idk. This is the most fun I’ve had in D4 and the thing I want the most is MORE activities to do, more bosses to farm and more cool items and maybe a small expanse to skill trees ? Loved the podcast though, a lot of good ideas and lol some not so good ones
I like the idea of treasure goblins as a way to combat the gold problem. Maybe a way to target farm them or to go to the realm of greed similar to d3. Honestly it would be that much more exciting to find a goblin because you get guaranteed value 🙌🏻
Great talk! The only thing that confused me a bit was the class balance discussion. Barb is not working as intended, the bash tooltip says it should be additive damage and that is most likely what the devs wanted... but for some insane reason, it ended up multiplicative... and tbh nobody really understands what's happening with thorns 😅. Without this and with some fixes for Sorc the balance would be ok-ish I think and we wouldn't have to talk about why a melee class needs strong weapons ^^.
Game is in a good state. Finally level 100. But now I feel some what lost suddenly. I am a d3 player so i sort of miss lack of progression after level 100 aka paragon. But for now I enjoy farming the content and level up my gear, stats and wht not. Leveling up alts too
The problems that make tempering feel bad: 1. Forced to take whatever it rolls instead of being able to keep the previous 2. It doesn't feel like all options have an equal chance to roll which is frustrating 3. Failure to get the one specific temper you want bricks the item I'm not sure why there is so much resistance to make the system less likely to brick an item. There is SO much RNG already. Here are the current RNG systems you're working with: 1. The type of the item that drops (gloves, amulet, pants, etc.) 2. What affixes it rolls with 3. How well each affix rolls within the range 4. If it has one or more greater affixes 5. Enchanting if it didn't roll all the affixes you need 6. Tempering 7. Masterworking I don't think making tempering more reliable would be making the game THAT much easier. You're still going to have plenty of RNG to keep you going for months before getting everything perfect. As far as what DM said about missing out on that "fuck yeah!" moment if you can't brick an item, imo I get that feeling when I get a greater affix that's good, let alone 2 or 3. The act of getting a good item is itself a great feeling. I personally don't feel great when an item tempers well. Instead what I feel is "thank god the game didn't screw me over again". The whole temper process is just not fun when it can brick the item imo. There's plenty of RNG already that we don't need the possibility of bricking the item to prolong the gearing process.
1. Introduce endless arena keys 2. NMD need to be buffed (loot/gold) 3. More Bosses (not reskins, more mechanics - hopefully Season 5) 4. More World Bosses (1 for each area of the map) 5. Get rid of wt1. Make a wt5. - new WT would be WT1 (WT2) - WT4 (scale to NMD 100) 6. More build defining uniques - have low level uniques that will help leveling process - build defining drop WT2 7. In the new WT system, all loot bosses are tormented in the new WT4
Personally, I don't hate NMD's, they just don't do anything for you. I think they're on the right track with more events in dungeon's though. I do like seeing those. NMD's need some tweaking, but I think they could work as a good end game activity that allows you to procure various materials. First, shorten requirements. So if an NMD has animus carriers, allow the door to open after killing three instead of 5 or 6. If you're in a dungeon that requires multiple items to open a door, make that dungeon one section as opposed to the second half of the dungeon. Things like this just to move things along a bit more. I'd still boost events a bit. We need more random encounters like the Butcher. Other mini-bosses that can be encountered, also with a chance to drop shit like Shattered prisms. It'd be nice to see some whispers added there also, so that you're not only doing whispers in the overworld. Add a small chance for one room to be a "treasure room" that drops some gold and items. I feel like there's a bunch of changes you could make to make them more compelling than just glyph XP, without removing the impact of Helltide and to break up farming there. Re: Tempering - No. The argument is not infinitely rerolling every item. I don't care if I brick a single GA item. I'll get another run relatively quickly. I would care a great deal more if I brick a once in a season drop. That piece I want to salvage, and I've not heard an argument yet that some method of being able to save said item detracts from the game. The entire point of the season was to remove all the trash you're constantly sifting through. To then have a perfect amulet or gloves or whatever drop, only to see that go in the trash bin means that item might as well have never been created. The lowest lows are overriding the highest high's in that case. I'm not compelled by "I kind of like it", especially when we're going to throw everything in the trash bin anyway come next season. I'm further not compelled by "you don't need..." I don't need to play the game, but I did. I got the drop, and the odds I'll get another exactly like it are pretty slim. I want to use it. Everyone is starved for gold. Allow gold to reset. No new items needed, you don't have to tether anything to whether someone can clear pit level whatever, make the gold cost high. You get another chance. You won't save everything, but you can save the one great piece. It might be expensive, but you can do it.
❤ great podcast. Some very good ideas brought forth. I have to say that DM had a few that I thought were great when it came to adding things to the game.
The argument regarding tempering is this; we want a deterministic way to sway the outcome. It's not about farm another item and try again, it's about the fact that once it's fucked we can't fix it. Tempering cost is too low right now, resetting a temper should cost something time gated. Sacrifice 5 scattered prisms with 10 unique items to create 1 blacksmiths key.
I'm surprised Blizzard hadn't implemented a bounty system with the various bounty boards in towns. I'd be in favor of daily bounties (1 nmd, 1 legion, I wb, 1 trial, 1 pit, etc) to receive a gold cache. You could even include Master bounties that could be completed once weekly such as Uber Bosses, tier 100 nmd, etc. It could enable people to play different parts of the game but with a steady source of income daily.
i think loadouts wud make so much sense and shouldn't cost anything but im coming from an fps destiny 2 perspective 😂 bc loadouts literally made the game so so good and having a town movement speed loadout would be great also adding gear to help tempering master-working would be nice too like like 5% reduce gold cost when equipped ect.
I really like the idea of adding some method to unbrick a tempered item... I was thinking along the same lines already. But I would make it VERY labourintensive, like it takes a couple hours of grinding to get what you need to fully unbrick an item, or like at least an hour to get one more reroll attempt. This way, most of the time it's just not worth it and nothing changes, but if you happened to get that perfect triple GA item that had your jaw drop on the floor when you saw it, and it bricked??? It's not as gutwrenching, you can save it, it's just going to take some work. And for more regular items, you're still going to chuck it because you'll probably find a new item faster than you could unbrick this one.
Crazy idea, but if you're worried about using a system like that to just endlessly improve it, which I agree doesn't sound great... what about you can only do it as long as you haven't worn this item and killed something with it? If it's bricked, you're not going to use it. If you are using it, well then it's not bricked, get rekt, this system is only protection against bricking.
The problem with the one shot bosses is that it sorta invalidates your armor cap and resistance. Rogue’s don’t have a get out of jail free card like the rest of the classes with overshields ect
Strange thing is levelling feels like the best part of the game right now from what been talking to many players. When you get to lvl 100 excitement unfortunately slows down and that’s where the game should be improved.
Yeah I’m on my 4th character right now lol. I love levelling and getting those dings and gettin my skills and stuff but like when I hit 100 I’m stoked to start grinding for the end game gear and items and feeling I’ve COMPLETED something. so I gotta respectfully disagree.
I like the longer boss fights in the pit, I literally didn’t even remember mechanics because of how easy the bosses had become to put down. If a build can’t handle a boss fight in addition to the clearing, probably need to change your build and for me that’s longevity in the high end game. If people don’t want to do that, then they’re done with the game for what they wanted to accomplish. If the game had loadouts we could easily build another build to swap to for bossing, I’d rather maybe see that then bane of the stricken coming back. Otherwise, I think maybe there should be a stacking mechanic that you could lean into so you don’t have to change your build but adding a mechanic could help a build that’s not designed for bossing or good at bossing anyway.
I think that you can’t design a good boss if you expectations are that you can kill them in sub 30 sec. Any good boss should be a 3-5 min encounter. I know it isn’t “blasting” but the fun part is suppose to be learning the boss mechanics and watching your feet. Especially for pushing. I do think they could add some boss variety too help. Like add more two or three enemy boss rooms.
Also something like hidden treasure vaults around the world or in dungeons would be cool for gold. There needs to be more incentives to utilise the actual game world outside of helltide and whispers
They need to fix sorcerer so many aspects/paragon nodes/skills do not function as intended. Probably missing half my damage because of these broken things
Just give an amount of gold that scales with the pit level, since the problem is people that are doing endgame need to do boring start of the game activities (whispers) increase the amount significantly, like for a pit 100 you should get 5 millions or so, at least there is a reward for beating these insane pit levels instead of a box full of materials that you cant use because you're broke
Are stigian stones farmable? Like in D2 you'd go somewhere to farm for a specific item like deaths fathom for example. Low drop rare but still better than farming most other places
best fix: A temper affix rerolled should be excluded from the remaining options. Can only roll a specific affix once. You’re still taking a risk to brick cuz the value could be really low itself or you can still run out of rerolls, just not as common
Random, but I think ladder bosses should drop guaranteed 925 loot. (Zir, grig, varshan, beast) feels bad farming mats without really a chance for 925 upgrades.
I love the new itemization... Only slight complaints I have so far is that getting plus to the right skill can be very hard... I think I've seen +2 to heartseeker once and the other two affixes were trash, never seen a +3 let alone on a good item. And there are like 20 possible affixes so enchanting can take a long time and insane amounts of gold. The other bit is that I'm kind of sad that most uniques are just not worth using anymore... Like, I've been lusting after many of these for a long time, and I finally get them! But... They're much worse than my unoptimized tempered legendary...
I’ve heard a lot of takes on this and honestly, seeing a number that is easier to relate to like 173 compared to 527,836,017 feels great tbh. Idk why but it feels more relatable and comparable. Capping in the thousands would be awesome imo
The solution to the stones is to just make them ultra random where you can do whatever content you want and find them. The rarity is whatever blizz thinks is gonna keep engagement as the casuals are never gonna get this far. This problem is only for the people who spend their lives in the game and want everything now to do it when they want to do it and it has never worked like that in any game. You get what you get is what it normally is 🤷🏽♂️
Wish you guys would talk about stuff that affects your fans. Tempering as is and combining melee with ranged tempers and having a super low limit is killing us. Also we don’t get fed gear like some streamers so please push for auction house to make it easy to buy and sell.
Wudi, please get a sorc main on these panels, sorcs need some love since clearly the devs don't care lol. I agree with dieoxide though, going the way of the sorc is better. I liked s1 and s2 when things took some time to kill. Now everything just gets one tapped, there are no more mechanics for 95% of the game. I blame all the crazy multipliers, no one ever knows how it all works, blizzard devs most of all. Why do we even need multipliers? Couldn't we simplify this insane damage calculation...? It's not even mathematically complicated, it's just convoluted.
It’s actually so fun to kill all the Rift guardian’s minions… er… um… I mean Pit guardian’s minions lol Seriously though, I am really enjoying this season. Even if the Season theme should be “The Season of Diablo 3”.
Stygian stones are for me the current worst problem in S4. 😡 I have hundreds of summoning mats, at a point where I've had to create multiple mules just to carry them, in case Bliz get their head out of their ass and finally decide to make the stones a GUARANTEED drop from Pit 61 (or 90), with a higher chance for multiple, the higher pit we go.
They should increase the drop rate some but that would be a lot and would make it feel very common and repetitive instead of being special at all. Just increase the drop rate by about 50% imo.
I think you guys really need to understand the causal player... i'm not but some of my friends are and at 58 they are still in wt3. They only have one char. Even then Elias is tough for them :) So WT3 is ok... plus..even if they do change the level cap. It won't stop people from running others into WT4 for some alts
Basic damage tempers and just having useful aspects on all your gear should easily let even the most casual players progress easily, stay in wt3 and blast until you are comfortable. It only takes one or two nm dungeons or one or two helltides to get full sacred gear. If anything the leveling phase to 100 is super easy and geared directly towards casual play.
Boss runs should be like greater rifts in D3. Everyone should chip in the mats to summon the boss. In D3, when you're out of keys, you're out of luck. Finding a party to do the runs efficiently is a major turn off for me. It's an absolut pain to find randoms to do runs with, if you don't have a friend list full of streamers, who play 10h/day. But doing them solo, knowing I'm missing out on so many runs, isn't an option either. If I knew, when I want to do 20 runs, I'd have to bringt 20x the mats, no matter the party size, I'd be fine. Especially since you get flooded by boss mats nowadays.
Tempering, we should get the choose the exact enchant we want. The range of how strong it is could be wider. Then you can still gamble to get a better min max, but not brick it. As a casual this is what I want. Spending weeks to get a perfect item worthy of tempering then brick it in 10 seconds is a turn off. Diablo mechanics shouldn’t have a mechanic that bricks items. Sounds like you guys like it because it keeps you in the 1%.
genuinely so cool seeing someone I used to play with back in D3 actually hit the big time. The stutter step HA Demon Hunter has arrived with the heartseeker!
Love tempering but I think they need to move them around again. So tired of getting arrow rain. And it just completely kills the gear you got from RNG especially if it’s 3GA. Either don’t let me keep rolling the same thing or give me some sort of protection. Although it is funny at the same time bricking. But the dopamine hit of getting your temper is great.
Tempering: Maybe have the option to keep the last temper? Or maybe reduce the chance to get the same temper again. It just feels bad, when you get 4x the same wrong temperstat in a row.
yeah atleast we can have something that not completely trash
reduce affix count for certain manuals, split up stuff like resistances (can overlap, why not?), should be 3 affixes mostly, 4 max
add a uncommon drop from NMD reward chests. rarity scales exponentially with NMD level (e.g T1 0.25%, T50 5%, T90 12.5%, T100 40%)
it's a consumable item that allows to temper once more BUT has a 20% chance to negatively crit a random stat (reverse masterworking) and a 10% chance to completely trash the item. play a horrible sound.

There's actually two ways you can brick your item: The first one is with gold with enchanting, after so many rolls if you don't have the roll you want, then it's considered bricked because gold is so scarce and to reroll is just too high.
1. make helltide whispers objectives stronger and more plentiful. we do not want to slay 250x Stalkers on 1 subzone for 1/10 whispers progression
2. make all dungeons possible for whispers. give NM keys with active whispers a glow in the inventory.
3. keep whispers as the premium gold faucet. add a bonus bonus bonus whispers cache
4. de-incentivice selling items completely. i don't have a real solution for this one
For sure those helltide whisper quests are a joke other than the one for 5 whispers for killing the blood maiden i ignore them unless there are normal whispers in the helltide and i do them incidentally
I have been waiting for this! Love these podcast type reviews of D4 seasons
Simply sell your gear at the in game vendor instead of junking it.. once you junk a bunch you don't need the mats so it's easy gold
Make glyphs account wide, make the map open account wide during the season, just add more gold from all sources,or add portals in nm dungeons that go to a goblin zone like in d3, or something of the sort.
I've done 6 tormented bosses and gotten no Ubers, casuals aren't getting 1 a week nvm 1 a day
I did ~40+ tormented uber bosses with my friends one got ZERO uber Uniques and the other one only got two. Both had to craft their Harlequin Crest.
Seems to be a much higher chance to get them and now you can dismantle them for material if it's one you don't want/need
ooooh noooo people who barely play don't get the best rewards available noooo how terrible
Wudijo: I want to keep this podcast roughly 2 hours
Me: *looks at video length* :)
Oh boi what a BLAST! Thanks for having me ❤
I don’t know why this never gets mentioned but they need to fix uber lilith loot.
Keep up the great Necro content!

S4 is great, I hope we eventually get a way to save and quickly change between builds.
This is a great podcast. Thanks all for the entertainment!
Leveling up alts too
I'd like to see a text on the boss dungeons that lists the boss and the mats needed.
I'm loving the new temper system personally
The problems that make tempering feel bad:
1. Forced to take whatever it rolls instead of being able to keep the previous
2. It doesn't feel like all options have an equal chance to roll which is frustrating
3. Failure to get the one specific temper you want bricks the item
I'm not sure why there is so much resistance to make the system less likely to brick an item. There is SO much RNG already. Here are the current RNG systems you're working with:
1. The type of the item that drops (gloves, amulet, pants, etc.)
2. What affixes it rolls with
3. How well each affix rolls within the range
4. If it has one or more greater affixes
5. Enchanting if it didn't roll all the affixes you need
6. Tempering
7. Masterworking
I don't think making tempering more reliable would be making the game THAT much easier.
1. Introduce endless arena keys
2. NMD need to be buffed (loot/gold)
3. More Bosses (not reskins, more mechanics - hopefully Season 5)
4. More World Bosses (1 for each area of the map)
5. Get rid of wt1. Make a wt5. - new WT would be WT1 (WT2) - WT4 (scale to NMD 100)
6. More build defining uniques - have low level uniques that will help leveling process - build defining drop WT2
Easy fix for the easy Obol spending when going to next world tier: attach Obols to the world tier, just like the whisper progress.
Armory: 1-2 slots to save current setup
I'm surprised Blizzard hadn't implemented a bounty system with the various bounty boards in towns. I'd be in favor of daily bounties (1 nmd, 1 legion, I wb, 1 trial, 1 pit, etc) to receive a gold cache. You could even include Master bounties that could be completed once weekly such as Uber Bosses, tier 100 nmd, etc. It could enable people to play different parts of the game but with a steady source of income daily.
My best guess for the lilith bug, which i got a lot too, is that it is triggered by "killing" her immediately after she slams down
I'm just happy this isn't another "react" video from DM. New D4 season is fire.
i think loadouts wud make so much sense and shouldn't cost anything but im coming from an fps destiny 2 perspective 😂 bc loadouts literally made the game so so good and having a town movement speed loadout would be great also adding gear to help tempering master-working would be nice too like like 5% reduce gold cost when equipped ect.
Agreed. I play D2 and ESO. Loadouts made a huge difference to both games when they were introduced.
Having g'old as a valuable currency is good. The one thing I'm missing are stygian stones.
Rogue’s don’t have a get out of jail free card like the rest of the classes with overshields ect
i got 2 grandfathers within 20 minutes ...one with a GA ...this season is nuts.
Just put the tormented stones in the weekly boss caches and if that's not enough give the main bosses a low chance to drop one too
Strange thing is levelling feels like the best part of the game right now from what been talking to many players. When you get to lvl 100 excitement unfortunately slows down and that’s where the game should be improved.
on my way to my 5th characters
Totally agree with DiEoxidE about the pit
I think that you can’t design a good boss if you expectations are that you can kill them in sub 30 sec.
Any good boss should be a 3-5 min encounter. I know it isn’t “blasting” but the fun part is suppose to be learning the boss mechanics and watching your feet. Especially for pushing.
I do think they could add some boss variety too help. Like add more two or three enemy boss rooms.
Also something like hidden treasure vaults around the world or in dungeons would be cool for gold. There needs to be more incentives to utilise the actual game world outside of helltide and whispers
I've done tormented duriel 6 times. I got 2 doombringers and 1 ring of starless skies. Only season I've ever got an uber
They need to fix sorcerer so many aspects/paragon nodes/skills do not function as intended. Probably missing half my damage because of these broken things
The Butcher could drop stones occasionally in Nightmare Tier like 40 and up. Like 1 in 20 Butchers?
That way you might get one or two on your way to 100 leveling your glyphs
Ive got about 450 million gold rn and got 8 characters to max iron wolf rep tho and that helps a lot
Make a stygin dust that drops in the pit. And higher pits drop more dust. And then 100 dust u can make a stone
I don't feel as bad about playing everyday for 4 seasons and still not having a Shako drop... thanks Wudijo.
I think for Helltide they should just make the chests re-lootable so we don't have to open chests we don't really care about.
You gota failstack your tempering guyz!!
best fix: A temper affix rerolled should be excluded from the remaining options. Can only roll a specific affix once. You’re still taking a risk to brick cuz the value could be really low itself or you can still run out of rerolls, just not as common
What if you could fuse/compound same uniques to create stronger versions of the unique could alleviate the unique issue
Just sell all the gear you collect at the in game vendor and you won't have a gold problem
I would love a stat squish. The balance (except Barb 😂) feels good, but I’d love to see numbers cap out in the thousands instead of millions/billions.
That's what they did in the preseason and it made everyone basically stop playing
@@Woelock I know, I loved it. People didn’t like that they had to try instead of just blasting through everything.
I’ve heard a lot of takes on this and honestly, seeing a number that is easier to relate to like 173 compared to 527,836,017 feels great tbh. Idk why but it feels more relatable and comparable. Capping in the thousands would be awesome imo
I think they should let us combine X amount of each boss material to make a stygien stone
I am very in support of buffing Stygian stone drop. I used all my 22 to kill tormented Duriel 11 times and I got 0 uber unique :(
The solution to the stones is to just make them ultra random where you can do whatever content you want and find them.
Blood maiden is pretty much the only way to get one shot while leveling in hardcore.
Yeah, amount of items I have found with the greater affix of life per second is absolutely infuriating.
It’s actually so fun to kill all the Rift guardian’s minions… er… um… I mean Pit guardian’s minions lol Seriously though, I am really enjoying this season. Even if the Season theme should be “The Season of Diablo 3”.
Increase the gold drops of legion events. That will bring people back to them.
This was a lot fun :)
Never knew about the legendary cache lol
Rouge? They massacred my boy!
Stygian stones are for me the current worst problem in S4. 😡
I have hundreds of summoning mats, at a point where I've had to create multiple mules just to carry them, in case Bliz get their head out of their ass and finally decide to make the stones a GUARANTEED drop from Pit 61 (or 90), with a higher chance for multiple, the higher pit we go.
They should increase the drop rate some but that would be a lot and would make it feel very common and repetitive instead of being special at all. Just increase the drop rate by about 50% imo.
@@Johnnybsknees would be best to properly scale it up with tier level. so pushing has a purpose. not to extremes. but noticeable
Not having an armory is primarily why I don’t really do PvP.
I think you guys really need to understand the causal player... i'm not but some of my friends are and at 58 they are still in wt3. They only have one char. Even then Elias is tough for them :)
So WT3 is ok... plus..even if they do change the level cap.
Dude got ultra lucky printing uber uniques
