Being constantly narcissistic isn’t ever a good trait. However, knowing how to use it to manipulate a situation in a good way, isn’t necessarily a bad thing an is definitely a skill that is valuable if one can master it.

randy is not wrong to try defend it, but he definitely has the wrong idea. the main thing to consider is that its a study, you have to think about the number of people tested, what conditions the study was conducted in, and even the type of people tested it may be the case that only a select few have narcissistic traits, and maybe some of those traits are tiny compared to the whole personality but when isolated appear to be bad
