Thank you for helping me start my journey! My grandmother is Armenian and nobody else in my immediate family speaks Armenian except her -- my main goal is to speak fluently with her before she passes and to take her to Armenia (she has never been because she grew up in Iran after her family fled from the genocide). Thanks again!!
I can relate. My grandma's side is also Armenian but they all went to former soviet countries so our family no longer speaks it. Hoping this course can replenish some of whats been lost.

I’m only part Armenian (1/8, 10%) but recently found out my great great grandparents left Armenia during the genocide, I want to pick up where they left off and journey to Armenia in respect to them. My family was cut off from the culture when my great grandfather left my great grandmother long ago, and there are next to no Armenians where I live, so discovering part of my culture has been a huge awakening and I feel like I’ve found a missing part of myself. I plan to visit Yerevan in the spring of 2025. I want to learn everything I can!
I have the exact same story as you it’s crazy I’m like 1/4 Armenian but I never knew my grandfather and he was born in Cairo I also feel like I should connect with my culture more. Good luck in your journey sister🫶🇦🇲
