Thank you for helping me start my journey! My grandmother is Armenian and nobody else in my immediate family speaks Armenian except her -- my main goal is to speak fluently with her before she passes and to take her to Armenia (she has never been because she grew up in Iran after her family fled from the genocide). Thanks again!!

I can relate. My grandma's side is also Armenian but they all went to former soviet countries so our family no longer speaks it. Hoping this course can replenish some of whats been lost.

Their culture is very much like our Latin American culture. Armenian music is very upbeat one of my favorite singers is Harout Pambojian. My wife is Greek and I being to Greece 6 times in Corfu

I’m only part Armenian (1/8, 10%) but recently found out my great great grandparents left Armenia during the genocide, I want to pick up where they left off and journey to Armenia in respect to them. My family was cut off from the culture when my great grandfather left my great grandmother long ago, and there are next to no Armenians where I live, so discovering part of my culture has been a huge awakening and I feel like I’ve found a missing part of myself. I plan to visit Yerevan in the spring of 2025. I want to learn everything I can!

The Armenian spelling/pronunciation is pretty wild in some words but I know other languages that can help me. I’m definitely gonna do this 😊

I want to learn Armenian since I’m catholic. I know Armenian is the oldest Christians so I love to learn it. Plus I live In La and spend a lot of time in Glendale. People always think I’m Armenian they think I’m lying when I tell them I’m not. Armenian food is the best.

I studied Armenian for a year about 15 yrs ago, but never got the chance to use it and forgot most of it. Would like to pick it back up, but have nobody to practice it with.

so in the alphabet, you have 2 words but I think it depends on where the letter is situated to which letter to use i.e. the beginning/middle/end of the word!? it's a strange alphabet, but looks mysterious like Arabic is mysterious when written.

Armenian has 2 sounds which are different. Q and K shall be used as different sound-letters for correct understanding. Like in "shnorhakalut'yun"
