The CW’s Arrowverse has done for superhero television what the Marvel Cinematic Universe has done for superhero movies, as both started with a single property and gradually built on their worlds, eventually leading to a crossover where the fate of the universe was on the line. In fact, just like the MCU, the Arrowverse began with a story about a playboy who had to become a hero. Oliver Queen has gone through a lot of changes during his time on Arrow, eventually making the ultimate sacrifice in Crisis on Infinite Earths. His legacy is epic
But he got fall in love and get married, be father two kids, meets superheroes, have friends and save multivers and people.
Same with Dean Winchester he lost a lot but got save people, say goodbye too his parents, take care of his little brother and make friends.
It's true that Oliver Queen has suffered quite a bit but don't forget about what Bruce Wayne went through.
You cant compare sufffering and pain, but Thor had a bigger burden and even more losses to count.
He got tortured on a really cold beach for 5 years and has to bear the burden of killing at least 30 people

season 8 was quite good, as well as the first half of 7 and last half of 8. I also enjoyed season 3 up until they made ra'as alghul seem like an average villain and a not very good fighter.

How did you completely leave out one of the best story lines? After Diaz barely escapes, Oliver makes a deal with the FBI, publicly revealing himself as the GA for a plea deal to give his team immunity. After spending over half a year in prison, Oliver stops a scheme inside the prison, saves the guards, and exposes that the FBI was never really protecting his family from Diaz which was part of the deal, which gives him enough good PR to be released from prison thanks to Laurel posing as Earth 1 Laurel who was an assistant DA. Afterward Team Arrow operates as the official special task force for the police.

Nice but you left at least 30% out of the timeline. Such as the death of Quinton Lance, Oliver going to prison, why Slade turned on Oliver, and the chronology of his association with Team Flash
but also him going back to the island and meeting up with constantine and talking to him about how to defeat damien

If you’re going to watch this show and haven’t watched it yet, just know the story dosent go exactly like this, there’s A LOT of flash backs.
it's kinda sad that season 6 is the only one with almost no flashbacks. the only flashbacks in season 6 was Slade spending time with his son, and Dinah drake getting introduced to Vincent.
It was a good series.
It had its ups and downs but overall, it is a good show.
I prefer this show over flash. Others can have other opinions but I would rather watch this show than flash. I just like the plots, villains and flashbacks

@@arjunmamidala1138 flash has way better villains reverse flash created the flash and flash created reverse flash the bets two villains of arrow is slade who only motivation is drugs make him crazy and Prometheus because Oliver killed his dad which is a good motivation but if you were to skip season 5 the only actually affects would be that Oliver wouldn’t have custody of his son and he wouldn’t help slade find his son.
You forgot the season 4 flashbacks when he learns about the magic and meets Constantine

Me Me They were apart of the original team, back when it was still being formed. Now Diggle,Oliver and Felicity might have been the first ones to band together for this team but Roy and Thea also are original members because the team building was still in its earlier stages and everyone was still figuring out their roles on the team.
The story line literally went from smooth sailing to reckless seas like what.

Let's be real. Oliver NEVER took his relationship with Laurel seriously. He honestly was never even IN love with her. He spent most of their entire relationship cheating on her, coming up with excuses and flaking out on her anytime she mentioned getting serious.
He only ever started to take the idea of her and what they had seriously when he was on the island and thought he'd never see another person, let alone his family or friends again. To say the only thing that Oliver took seriously before he got shipwrecked on the island was his relationship with Laurel is a complete joke 🤣😂😂😂
He realised he really did love Laurel whilst he was on the Lian Yu
@@deankolpin4736 eh, I'd say it was more guilt than love he felt. Sure he had feelings for her, but I think he mainly felt guilty for how he treated her. He realized how loyal and devoted she was to him and that made him want to make things right with her. But I wouldn't say he was in love with her. It was more of an obligation to "love her" in order to make thing right, rather than him actually feelings like "I realize now that I'm head over heels in love with you".

Having Laurel as Olly's wife within the Dominator world scape in the 2nd major crossover further hints he loved her more than Sara
@@deankolpin4736 the whole dominator dream was nothing more than what Oliver thought his life would be had he not been on the Queen's gambit. The only reason Laurel was his fiance/future wife was because he was in a relationship with her before he went on the Queen's Gambit. The dream world that the dominators created was meant to show what his life would have been like had he not went on the boat.
It had nothing to do with Sara or who he loved more. It had to do with who he was with before the boat, and what his life would have continued to look like had he not made the choices he did. Had nothing to do with his feelings for Sara or Laurel. Plus, he even told Laurel in that dream world that the man she loved, the guy she kept wanting him to be, wasn't him. He could never be the man Laurel wanted or loved, because she just wasnt the one for him.

Man I loved this show. Had a good time keeping up with its entire run and the universe and crossovers that was created.
It’s pretty cool experiment if you watch all the flashback scenes for each season (UA-cam is a big help with this) and then start season 1. You can totally believe Oliver is capable of everything he does as GA.
I actually did this when season 4 was airing so I binged only the first 3 seasons of flashbacks

There are other pieces missing involving the timeline including meeting vixen, fighting earth-x even dominators and being in jail revealing who he is and other things but it works
I've seen a lot of Green Arrow comic book origin stories explained on UA-cam and in each different origin story I said to myself the Arrow origin is better because it maybe complicated but it gives Oliver a real reason to become Green Arrow. In the comics the reason he became Arrow was never explained!

I think Oliver queen is still alive in the arrowverse just as the Spectre. Everyone else got brought back from the dead except him. Doesn't make sense. That's because he's still alive. As Jim coregans successor as Spectre. He made this whole universe for everyone. So he decided to find the best way to continue the mission. To be the judge. As a the spectre. He doesn't have the stress of a double life. While he knows that his friends and family are alive and will live a good life. So yeah. Oliver is alive. He is the Batman of this universe and like Batman. His story never ends happy. No matter how much he tries to get out. He always gets roped back into the mission. so he decided to make himself what he was in crisis. The spectre. So he could truly become the vigilante he dreamed to me. After all. Death comes to everyone. And when they do. The spectre judges. As if I remember correctly. He judges criminals and is a executioner if need be. So yeah. Oliver is still alive but as the Spectre to continue the fight. While watching from a distance as his children grow up. And who knows. We may see Oliver queen aka spectre in green arrow and the canaries. Yes there is that scene where Felicity reunited with Oliver in the afterlife but that was the pre crisis future. So that just might be a way the writers want us to think he's really dead. When in reality that's the pre crisis future.

Arrow fell and a hero was reborn to save the universe time and time again Arrow battled force's both on earth and the universe or muliverses he won back he became the universe? Here's something people forget there was a muliverse so isn't possible there maybe many different versions of Arrow and Oliver Queen there's a real possibility that this Green Arrow wasn't the last or last version the universe of dc heroes have a mix of different characters and not just the same person or as they should be? Every multiple version of the same hero has a different life near to the original but very different well Oliver in one universe might be a few years or older or something completely different and then there there's gender in another Ollie might be female? But I really wonder if the muliverse is finished and is there a cosmic rebalance coming or is there a darkness coming were earth need Oliver Queen again to fight for earths future a darkness called Darkside and his unknown soldier of Doomday?

Great video overall but I would’ve loved to hear at least a mention that in the season 4 finale Oliver reverted to his old habits when he killed Damian Dhark to avenge Laurel. That was a huge plot point in the following season that I think is big enough to have mentioned
