Mucky Secrets - Prologue - The Marine Creatures of the Lembeh Strait

I've been working on a 90-minute documentary called "Mucky Secrets", about the weird and wonderful marine life of Indonesia's Lembeh Strait, one of my favorite muck diving destinations.
Here's a prologue I made in advance of the full release. I really tried to show the personalities of all these quirky little creatures.

I’m not sure how to say this, but for some reason the close up of the eyes make the creatures seem more alive, it creates an empathy for them, there is a thinking mind behind the eyes.

Thanks! This was shot with a Sony HVR-Z1P HDV camera with a Century Optics +3.5 diopter in a Light & Motion Bluefin HD housing with Light & Motion halogen lights. It's 6 years old already, but I didn't replace it yet. You wouldn't buy this rig now.

Thanks! It's a big housing, which helps, and for a lot of the shots I had the camera resting on the bottom. I also have some arms attached to it made of "Gorillapod" which act a bit like tripod legs and help steady it.

Most references have it down as a bicolor parrotfish (Cetoscarus bicolor), but those have fairly recently been shown to be local to the Red Sea. The rest including this one are actually spotted parrotfish (Cetoscarus ocellatus). They look almost the same.
