I'm American, moderately intelligent considering my disappointment of a country (see: 2024 election) and a big sports fan. About once or twice a year, I'm reminded that cricket exists. I'll read up on the rules, watch a few games. I do like it. The following year, I have forgotten everything I learned about cricket. It's like I'm seeing it for the first time. Not sure why, but the rules of cricket simply cannot hold permanent residence in my brain. So, thanks, Zaltz. I'm now off to figure out what the hell an over is.
