Hi Joe, This is Hide Morohoshi from Tokyo, Japan and I have been watching your video since I bought M2 competition in 2020. Here in Japan, people who own M2, do a lot of modifications. Reducing the weight and the driving position are very important especially for driving on the track. Anway I am looking forward to watching you video especially the modification of your M2. Thank!
Joe you absolutely living the dream! Everything on the M2 is so tastefully done with such attention to detail and driver focused. Keep up the good work and enjoy life because you deserve it 👏 Thank you for all the great content you do, it is much appreciated
So glad you have done this Joe, i went from a M2C to G80 M3 Xdrive last year (met you at Bedford ..Oxide grey, you had your first M3 non xdrive), then bought another M2C earlier this year and sold for a M240i Xd... i wish i had kept the M2c..best feeling car iv ever had!
What an absolutely cracking build. I love your focus on weight, handling and driving experience. Most UA-camrs just throw a bunch of power mods at the car... but we all know what gets you around a track quicker in real life! Thanks for the weight loss hacks - that battery is 🤯
Your journey with the M2 has been compelling viewing but there is one problem. I was going to change my 440i GC for a new M240i. Because of you, next Friday I am collecting a Sunset Orange M2 Comp. My last proper M car was an E30 M3 in 1989. IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT and I can't thank you enough!😂
Once again it's amazing to see this M2 project and the smiles that Joe makes driving it... Car looks so good, and the weight saved with all this mods it's unreal! Big congrats to this project!!! Top top top 👌👌👌
I had Recaro SPGs and the same belts in my S2k and I loved them! The seats were comfortable enough where I could drive 3 hours to the track drive all day and then drive back and no back pains.
Listen this is probably one of the best "series" you're putting online at the moment.. so interesting seeing a car being transformed for track work and to get a glimpse at what it requires. Keep them coming mate !
Okay Joe 🔥🔥🔥 OMP has never looked so good. The difference in seating position even on camera is night and day, can’t imagine how good it must feel. Robert from heel and toe is gonna love this.
Very nice build. However, it’s strongly recommended that a HANS device is worn with a full harness. As it doesn’t take much force from a frontal impact to suffer an internal decapitation. Never wear them on the road, just asking for trouble.
Although most European performance cars leave me cold, your M2 is now starting to look and sound much better. I also added the Deadweight Industries battery to both my Imprezas. Saved 14 kilos on each. Next weight saving will be Recaro Podiums plus carbon fibre roof and lexan rear window, plus lighter wheels. Am also looking at over 50 kilos saving with these changes.
I have just looked at the Swift website and see it is very close to where I am having lunch tomorrow with my friends from Australia. Doubt it will be 32 degrees tomorrow. Car looks and sounds amazing.
Joe, thank you for some feedback on the PSDynamic shifter! It’s the next mod I’m planning for my M2 and I couldn’t find much user feedback online. You’ve convinced me to order one! Especially at half the price of a CAE.
Fantastic buddy! You are blessed finding a shop like that Did you look anything into the CAE shifters? Me being short I would not see out of the car with that position 🤣 ohh and my ass is hairy so I have filtering going on not getting much road sensation that way hahaha
Hi Joe, love your content. Bit of a long shot this one, but can I ask what is the watch you are wearing? Looks fantastic on you, thinking of getting a similar one!
How much of a difference did replacing control arms and bushings with solid bushings make in chasis feedback with respect to road feel. Iam thinking of doing this with m3 comp xdrive
Great job Joe, really coming along nicely, id say it feels like a whole new driving experience now. Did you weight the over all weight of the car? Must be close to 1450kg by now.. looking forward to the next stage!
Nice build For safety reasons you should only wear a harness if you have a hans device Otherwise if you’re in an accident your body will stay tight against the seat but you’re neck is in for a very very bad time
Hey Joe great to see the build progressing. No weld-in plates for the cage on the main legs? Is the shell strong enough to stop it punching through if the car ends up on the roof?
I can imagine the arm rest would get in the way on track, if mine is in the forward position it already gets in the way with the stock seats, maybe an M2 CS center tunnel would make sense.
Hi joe do you have 30 profile or 35 profile tyres? Do you think going down to 30 would offer a noticeable amount of improved feeling/handling on an m2?
Would you go for a big spolier joe, only my humble opion but that would really add to the look of the car, dead weight industries is epic, they are near me in Partridge Green, West sussex (near Brighton) they have an awesome Java Green e92 M3, very very cool! Kw Clubsport suspension, Cage, Alcon brakes etc etc. Amzing seeing it in person, you must want to sleep in the m2 lol, i would 🤣🤣
Gutted, gotta say bye to our M4, it's just becoming too much of an overpriced luxury unfortunately. Cheers Boris and Co for screwing every fucker over. This is just the start. Rock on Joe Maybe I'll get another M-lite or M in the future but for now it's going.

Your M2 is starting to look and sound soooo aggressive and I love it! Definetly too nutty for our Bucks roads!

Stage 3 def needs a spoiler for the high speed corners now that you've taken the weight out the back!
Joe you do these things so well. Yes, just YES! I'd struggle getting out of that thing when I have tasted it! Good job. Looking forward to stage 3.
What a build Joe, fair play to you and Swift Performance for creating a track monster. The combination of these changes is fantastic. 👍👌
Great club sport build!
Congrats! It looks amazing! I bet you're having a blast in that car.
Omg. That is epic. Looking forward to seeing it (and passenger ride) tomorrow at Goodwood.
Spot on build! Hope we see this beast at the ring soon!!
Very nice build. However, it’s strongly recommended that a HANS device is worn with a full harness. As it doesn’t take much force from a frontal impact to suffer an internal decapitation. Never wear them on the road, just asking for trouble.
Nice weight saving, those batteries are so good, had mine for a couple of years, zero issues.
Well done Joe, can't wait to see this weapon on the track!
Followed you since the first m135i, awesome to see how your channels grown! Cars awesome!

As always. Your cars look incredible from The M3 and this monster. Rappppppid!
Well done Joe. It must feel now like a rocket.
What a beast, l look forward to seeing a track video 👏

The inside build is beautiful the project is awesome 👏
With you all the way, Joe.
This is epic fella, what a weapon 🙌
Would be interesting to get some before and after lap times…. great content Joe!

Man, this looks stunning
Joe! It's looking so badass and awesome!! Also, that intro!
Love how flat this corners…. Sounds great, I’d love to have a thrash in that,… can’t wait to see the development
I see Joe, I hit Go!
Keep up the build! Looks great
Love it can’t wait to see it on track!🔥🔥
Love it dude! Looks so goood!!! “My arse is talking to me” 😆 Mine talks to me when I want it to be quiet 🤷♂️

Amazing! Will you also replace the bonnet with a carbon fiber one to balance the weight of the car?
Beautiful a clean great job 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯💯👍🏆
Another great video and a brilliant write up in Evo 😁
Love it👍keep smashing it Joe
Great job. Really interesting.
19:50: “Meh” Joe … 19:31: Happy Joe! Great build. Stealth and purposeful.
Many congrats! She.s a dream Machine! What theme song did you used? it is beautiful
Nice little tune to 500BHP and this car is a keeper for life 👍
looks great! Love to know who supplied the steering wheel spacer though?
Saw the piece on it in Evo Mag!
Fantastic buddy! You are blessed finding a shop like that

I thought I recognised you when I pulled up beside you! Saw you in Petersfield today, it sounded very nice in person
Ahh yes mate, did you pull alongside me in your Long beach blue M2? Looked mega 🔥
@@JoeAchilles1 Yeah, that's the one! Cheers mate, love the vids, keep it up!
Would be interested in seeing the cross weights now compared to stage 1 build.
Hi Joe, love your content. Bit of a long shot this one, but can I ask what is the watch you are wearing? Looks fantastic on you, thinking of getting a similar one!

Great video Joe 👍
1:28 is your pad getting full contact? doesnt look like it.
what a build man, love it!!

Looking good. Were you able to adjust spring preload/sag in each corner after the weight was removed?
how do you find the SPG XL seats, Joe? Not too tight around the mid area? Best
Hi Joe I have manual M2 N55 with a few upgrades however the seats are a shocker are the one you removed up for sale if not no worries ? Thank you
Cant wait to do all this stuff on the G87 next year :O:O:O
Very nice too 👊🏻
Hey Joe love that steering wheel extender, where'd you get that from I'm in Aus and that'd be perfect for me, Cheers!
Stunning car!

Hey Joe did you install an aftermarket crank hub?
Nice build
For safety reasons you should only wear a harness if you have a hans device
Otherwise if you’re in an accident your body will stay tight against the seat but you’re neck is in for a very very bad time
Car looks amazing joe. U doing a ring trip this year in this? it’s been a year since we met there time goes fast 😀
Joe, be careful with the harnesses, if you wear them without a HANS device you might brake your neck in case of a crash
This build is just insane. Joe… you’re going to put me in debt 😂😂😂
Great to see how made up you are with this too Chief! Congrats
Hey Joe great to see the build progressing. No weld-in plates for the cage on the main legs? Is the shell strong enough to stop it punching through if the car ends up on the roof?

Love the interior 🔥What about an M Sport livery?

Just beautiful..😍😍
Hey Joe, did you weight the m2c after installing all the parts with the current setup?
I removed the arm rest and fitted seat sliders in mine, but nice build Joe!
Where did you sliders from? Also, do they add a lot of height? I need to get lower in mine if I am going to keep it
@@dans5664 I bought everything from capital seating (main Recaro distributor). The sliders are great - only add about 1cm stack height
@@lordgibbness Thanks fella, ill look them up. I need LOWER and I am only 5"7,

Great mods.lightweight is the key.2 ton plus electric cars can do one
Nice build!!
Nice, really nice
Amazing 😍
You have successfully somehow made a believable argument to buy each one of the BMW’s over the other simultaneously.
Joe isn't fooling around with this build. 🙂👍
😂 love the sticker. I pity the fuel.

With all those trackmods you'll like it more on track, but you will start to dislike them on the road eventually.
Weapon 👌
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻, Great mods!
NICE
epic build! but it looks so uncomfortable now 😂
Gutted, gotta say bye to our M4, it's just becoming too much of an overpriced luxury unfortunately. Cheers Boris and Co for screwing every fucker over. This is just the start.
Rock on Joe
Maybe I'll get another M-lite or M in the future but for now it's going.
Apex vs-5rs lightweight wheels next >>>>>
Now its time to throw some 18s on with proper tyres. time for cup2's to go.
I could not drive that car with the rattling. It would drive me up the wall.
Audio is way too low. Shmee seems to be only one that can get his levels correct for every device.
