I got a tip where is you have a weapon with the extra rail on the the side of the or can have the upgrade for it you can put a red dot and the 4x scope on top
instead of taking ammo boxes take spare mags in put them in the bag even have it so when your fighting a non armoured enemy you can just quickly switch out saving money and yeah the 4x has built in iron sights
It's always so cool seeing how other people organize their inventory. Having your injectors on the side like that is pretty cool! I keep one on my leg arm and my knife on my right, it's really good to grab n stab, whether it's myself or someone else
I used to have health on my arm for ages. Not sure why I stopped really. I think it's because I found I was only healing after encounters had ended, so I had time to go through. But healing mid fight is always a useful option
This game is a great! Just got to lvl 5, ran around in that village, overloaded like a total idiot, so I repaired and sorted thru my inventory for a good while, just to reload the safe where I had just entered the Farewell Feast - Map, since I had chugged 2 energy drinks down (as I usually do when I find them) and ended up missing, you guessed it, 2 cans of energy drink in the end. Also, I was of course only sporting my M9 (no scope, just a silencer) and a SPAS12 (no attachments at all), so all those snipey enemies on the way there were a true blast to get near...
It's so cool to see how everyone plays the game so differently. I wish I could show yall how I have my inventory/weapons set. For example I use the M4 I'm comfortable with this weapon. And I have the AR scope on the right rail. I have the holography sight onto and the laser on the left. My reasoning is for medium range inuse the top sight. For further shots I simply turn the m4 to left and now I can use the sight on the side. And the laser always helps no matter what. I do have a sniper for those far far shots.b
I'd ditch the shoulder lamp once you've got the head lamp. Put your artifact detector in your shoulder slot free up you dump pouch for empty mags and things you grab when you can't be asked to get your bag out. The shoulder lamp doesn't really add anything if you've got your body following your head as you turn.
I wanted to say thanks for all the helpful tips! I'm currently security level 2 and dirt cheap and I still find these tips very useful even though they barely apply. Thanks again!

Looking forward for the review :) My personal best way to conserve ammo is having a mosin with ap rounds on my backpack, usually always one shots armored mimics, so baiting them through corners and bonking them with laser sights sure saves money lol Also when a pesky spider comes from nowhere, i just take a knife out on one hand, and ignore it while strafing, the dumb thing usually impales itself on it while pouncing, always a good laugh
@@IcarusAO yeah, at first it was an accident while i was chasing one, i thought i was dead when it pounced, but then it instadied on me. Weird thing is though, theu usualy take two hits from a knife, but i guess the acceleration from the pounce made it count like a knife throw lol

I feel like the most efficient way to gear up how I do it is putting the stims on the arms knife on the left shoulder and artifact finder on the right shoulder and the head lamp which works perfect. I carry 4 rifle mags in the pouches on the chest and 3 handgun mags in the side pouch so you'll have 5 AR & 4 handgun it's well of enough ammo. Whatever mag is empty put them in the side pouch separated from your full mags. In my bag I bring 1 can of peaches and 1 drink and 1 extra stim which well over enough for your runs. Put the gas mask on the right side of the bag and bring 1 one box each for your guns ( make sure they are +p & AP ). Always run suppressed guns and always aim for the head and always repair your armor and suppressors after each run and clean your gun and mags. Fight when you have to not when you want to & pack to be efficient. I played threw the whole game like this without any issues

You missed an obvious one: Sleep to regain health. If you're anywhere near a bed/shelter then a single game minute's sleep will fully restore your health. Given that a game hour only lasts two minutes while in the radius you can basically get free health nearly anytime you need.
Honestly I had no idea that 1 hour sleep will always heal to full. I assumed it was like Elder Scrolls games where 1 hour would heal about 10% - this is VERY handy to know. Thank you!
There's one specific spot in the factory level. It's at the west side of the map, just at the south end of the Quarry. You'll see a guard tower that usually has a sniper inside. Near the foot of that tower there's an anomaly field. Check there with your detector and it'll show up.
@@IcarusAO yeah, I forgot to mention it. One 71 round mag and one for if it's really an emergency or the mag needs repairs and an ammo box. 😍 And the submachine gun is damn reliable! Not only that! Because there is no mechanism putting a bullet into the gun, you can easily change between ammo types.
It can take a long time, but you're really in no rush to push for the security level upgrades. Just enjoy your time playing and go at whatever pace you want
I'm not sure it's compatible with modding due to limitations in hardware. Hopefully they'll add in game modifiers to let you play around with the settings
I made a new playthrough after I lost the other, got to sec 4, used the AS Val, and after being in kolkoz zarya for about an hr and a half irl I got sec 5 and a 50k to blow. organized my base, repaired my stuff, walked out of the base, smoked a cig while looking at the sky, and shut off my headset. Can’t wait to go on a spending spree😋
@@isaacschuit5650 I love those runs where you turn in a boatload of loot and get that sweet dollar. I do recommend the SCAR if you don't mind spending the money... it doesn't have AP rounds, but it's still the best gun in the game
Idk if this was smart but I got the Scar, D-v10, and the Saiga shotgun, all with attachments and plenty of ammo with 20k left from another trip. I’m thinking that the d-10 is better for kolkoz zarya and not really much else because of it being so open with sweet sniper spots. I like the scar, it’s like a better m4a1, but it honestly just feels too op

Good tip. I actually did this with my m4. The top rail had a x4 zoom and the right side had a 1x sight. Got annoying after a while but was mega handy

Sometimes limiting yourself makes the game more fun. Just the bolt action Mosin is also a fun one (no scope)

I've never tried the impale tactic with spawns 😆 but sounds pretty useful actually.

This only works depending on your difficulty. There is an option to not have that which adds an extra money puller to your already finite balance.
