I wouldn’t say that I wouldn’t watch it but they need to focus on preparing their individual homes, with everything else. There’s a time to film and a time to be present in order to protect your family. It’s stressful enough when you’re looking down the barrel of Mother Nature’s gun, especially right after seeing what just happened in the mountains a few hundred miles north of them. We need to just be patient and watch them as they come and not put unnecessary pressure to put out content on top of everything else just because we wanna see what’s happening. Im not meaning all of this to be a dickish response, i just feel bad for everyone down there right now.

I live in Houston and have had 24" of flood waters in my shop and have saved my classics several times using foundation/sinder blocks. You can easily stack 2-3 bricks high under each wheel, raising 8" per block. Y'all hang tough, good luck.
Just a heads up to anyone reading this. It may be a good cheap idea to protect for flooding but never crawl under a car on cinder blocks. Always use proper jackstands.

I was in clearwater, florida yesterday, helping out with the cleanup from the first hurricane and they made us go back home to Texas. I should be going back Friday or Saturday to help with this hurricane. Hope you guys stay safe and my prayers are with you.
I grew up in Tampa and we always joked about riding out every hurricane, but some are just too strong and hit you too directly. I live in Houston and have had 24" of flood waters in my shop and have saved my classics several times using foundation/sinder blocks. You can easily stack 2-3 bricks high under each wheel, raising 8" per block. Y'all hang tough, good luck.
Just a heads up to anyone reading this. It may be a good cheap idea to protect for flooding but never crawl under a car on cinder blocks. Always use proper jackstands.

My sister and her family in N.C. were very fortunate they weren't flooded. Thank you Cleet and the private chopper pilots that volunteered to fly in relief supplies and help save lives! I was in clearwater, florida yesterday, helping out with the cleanup from the first hurricane and they made us go back home to Texas.

I grew up in Tampa and we always joked about riding out every hurricane, but some are just too strong and hit you too directly. Looks like you're as prepared as you can be and have good contingency plans. Stay safe and can't wait for the update once the storm has passed!

Prayers go out to you, your family & everyone else who has been through the crazy storms down in the lower 48. Being as I've lived in North Pole, Alaska my entire life I honestly can't believe how you guys pull through and clean up again & again. The worst I have to deal with is -65*F in the dead of winter and that's only for a month or so. Which is a walk in the park compared to what I've seen happen just to you alone.
