Heavenly/Marine Research was on of the best bandson the Indie-pop movement on the 90´s. Amelia Fletcher is a great song-writer. And beauty. It´s a shame that they didn´t play anyomre. Where are they now? I love Cathy Rogers! She´s very beautiful!
anyone see the piece in the g2 recently about cathy rogers and her family moving to italy and buying an olive grove?! very interesting. she's put out a book of her experiences and recipes, 'the dolce vita diaries'. she also presented scrapheap challenge for a while. me and my brother used to stalk marine research back in the day - saw them pretty much everywhere - the old barfly (at the falcon)....notting hill arts club, the garage.....good times! good band....

Heavenly changed their name to Marine Research?
The drummer of Heavenly committed suicide.

you have Marine Research confused with Fog Hat
