Take a 12 volt test light unhook the positive lead and put the light on the positive.lead and positive of the battery it light up from the draw the pull the fuses one by one till the light goes out that's the draw circuit .

Yep I had one did the same thing.. had it checked at electric shop.. it was the light in the trunk that stayed on it was a mercury in the light.. check that bro..

My Cadillac it was the factory alarm always drawing power so I got the strongest battery and it did a lot better

Walmart batteries are notorious for cell shorts when being drawn down past 10 volts. Once that happens they will charge back up to voltage but will puke when trying to start the car again . More often than not.

Battery is very likely shot from being drained dead too many times.

Yes sir Walmart batteries do not recover like an expensive battery does once they’re damaged or usually stay damaged

hi, how hard is it to install the lever? i have a 2002 cadillac deville, does it make that much of a difference like you say it's not hard to do that, is it any harder if my battery is under the seat? does that matter?

The lever is extremely easy to install no matter if the batteries in the back or under the hood it is highly effective because there’s absolutely no draw on the battery after you park it because you are moving the lever which then in return disconnect the battery from the car

Parasitic draw you are correct just as well as trunk lights don’t shut off and a slew of other things on this model
