    Angelus dyes look awesome. Unfortunately they are a tad heavy handed for wood. Every video I have seen someone use on a top seemed like they could easily be diluted 50% to start. The Brown is especially brutal. Not sure if you have tried that yet so be forewarned. Still turned out decently.
    I used the Keyda powdered dyes on my first build and that was easy to balance when mixing but I started out light and added a little at a time until I got what I wanted in a two coat process for repeatability.

      Yeah, I know what you mean. But I appreciate that they come so concentrated, as I could always dilute them later (they sell “neutral” that I used as the blending agent, not sure it’s anything other than denatured alcohol)
      I like Keda for the mixing abilities for sure, especially as I start to get into spraying colored lacquer. Especially a touch of yellow and brown to make “vintage” lacquer
