I remember this classic & I never seened a video of this performance I enoyed looking & listening to it & the way he switch to each singers song & still kept it in his own lane again thank 🎇you for posting & way to go Spyder Turner 👏& 👏 🎶 🎹🎷 🎸 4- 14-19
Great job… I saw Spyder in a club in Memphis 1974. I was playing with the pro football team Memphis Grizzlies. Great time!! Since I’ve met him in Detroit!! Go Go Go!!! Peace&Blues PM
Ben E. King's often covered standard has been redone so much as so to almost render it and all other versions redundant. For my money, the only version that holds up is this late 1966 gem from the great Spyder Turner, who did what others (the Woolies with Who Do You Love and the Wanted with In The Midnight Hour, for example) needed to do, which is to reinvent the template and for all practical purposes make it an original. Pure genius.
I Do Love You and Sittin' In The Park, both hits for him in 1965 and both tunes were covered by the Disco Group GQ in 1979, best known for their Disco smash, "Disco Nights".
This is the all original version that i remember from childhood and you have brought that memory back to life! Thank you for that!

A song that sort of disappeared. Lost hit that was big in early 67. Go figure?
