    The girl in the last vid (Atlin Mitchell) is actually a stunt performer and double for shows like the Last Of Us, Arrow, The 100, The Flash, Deadpool, and even some twilight movies. I think its safe to say she has had a good career beyond that monstrosity of a video 😭😭

    Ronnie Shalvis was the first parkour UA-camr who helped me learn parkour and learn to love it. Sure, some of his vids many years ago were a little cheesy, but he's actually a super talented athlete and teaches the basics of parkour in a way that is fun, easy to understand, and promotes keeping yourself safe and not attempting movements or challenges that you aren't ready for. An awesome parkour athlete and seems like a great guy all around!

    You guys looked like you were having less fun watching that last video than your were pushing through the thorn bushes for the straight line mission, and honestly I don’t blame you. I’ve seen (and admittedly made) my fair share of cringe content over the years, but that’s easily the worst “parkour” video I’ve ever watched. Funny to see Ronnie Shalvis appear in this video, since he was one of the first parkour UA-cam channels I ever discovered, but yeah looking back some of his older content was a bit rough. Definitely an OG for entry level parkour tutorials though, which I appreciated when I was first getting into the sport.

    I liked this video. It was a nice touch submitting your own too, and it had a 'it's all in good fun' vibe to it so any criticism doesnt feel too harsh, like people make cringey videos where they speak poetry or their moves arent quite as slick as they imagine. Obviously the reaction to the last video was exactly harsh enough though-- It was very cathartic to experience that alongside you through youtube! Not often I've seen guys react with such genuine emotional recoil - lots of videos with folks saying 'sexual harassment is bad' etc. but your reactions hit different and I liked it, your reactions showing you're good people. I wish that last video ended with her saying the cringey 'catch me if you can' thing, then her being so much better than him that she's just instantly out of sight and gone, and then the police turn up lol plot twist. ANyway, I liked this video, it had the vibe of watching youtube videos with your friends and laughing at them/reacting together (... obviously that's what you *were* doing, but thanks for inviting us along for the ride!) , while picking up the details in the parkour skills throughout.

    • @solar0wind
      @solar0wind 6 місяців тому

      It's great to see so many comments from other women here, who, like me, feel relieved and happy to see men actually 'feeling' strongly against harrassment/having an emotional reaction. It's kind of a low bar, but on the other side, when I was younger and didn't have negative experiences yet, I wouldn't have reacted strongly either. Or rather: I didn't react strongly because I saw this video a long time ago already, and apparently didn't think too much of it...

    • @OGPatriot03
      @OGPatriot03 7 місяців тому +3

      I don't understand the video, it seems like there's some kind of missing context. The Woman was an actress playing a role, presumably a paid and willing participant and they were saying the guy should be locked up as they criticized his clothing and mannerisms.
      I actually think the video in question pointed out some flaws with society that I think went over their head - like how Women complain about being objectified but then they objectify men without a 2nd thought. OR how it's socially acceptable for women to be sexually aggressive but of course not the other way around.
      I think the point is one of hypocrisy, not condoning the behavior one way or the other. I assume, there's clearly missing context because the video obviously wasn't just some random parkour vid or an advert. So ask yourself what the point of the video was before shamelessly mocking the guy for "looking like a creep".

      @@OGPatriot03 The point is to play out his sick fantasy and they're calling him a creep because the fact he thought up this video and thought it was acceptable in any way shape or form is sick. There's no deeper social message there unless you're trying to find some cope to defend this weirdo.
      There's also no context that saves this video whatsoever and all it takes is a quick youtube search to find that out instead of giving someone the benefit of the doubt where it is neither earnt nor deserved nor necessary.

    Yeah please put that whole commercial up.
    And now y'all should make a video dressed up as heros, recreating parkour moves they do in movies/shows. Or recreate the poetry in motion videos, but don't do the poetry part. Y'all have already been to all the spots, y'all could make it cool.

    You could have included Drew's softcore porno, but I guess that didn't have any parkour in it 👀 (Sorry, Drew!)
    That last video was the world I grew up in, being a teen/twenty-something in the 80s and 90s. I'm very glad to see how much things have changed.
    Love to the boys and the Storror army! ☮

    Easy to mock poetry as a non-poet. Its clearly amateur poetry but its not terrible. Not a great look to mock someone for being brave enough to put themself out there publicly with something like poetry.

    • @J75Pootle
      @J75Pootle 7 місяців тому +3

      I don't think it's the poetry they're making fun of, it's the content of the poem, the words he's saying, that's funny

    • @benjaminfrost2780
      @benjaminfrost2780 7 місяців тому +2

      @@J75Pootle Ok....do you not understand what poetry is? "the words" are what makes the poetry. That would be like saying a person isn't making fun of a video game but just the characters in it. That IS making fun of it. Words were literally said, "We should be bullying the poetry".
      I am a Storror fan but I will call people on being not great people when they are. Don't try to misdirect/explain away them doing something bad as people.

      It’s just not a good fit for the parkour genre in my opinion it also is not to connected it’s just rhyming words and making it about parkour and him being shirtless

    • @benjaminfrost2780
      @benjaminfrost2780 5 місяців тому +1

      @@jacobjenkins5805 lol, how would it be more "connected"? Its a song which is rhyming and the lyrics are about parkour. If you don't like music interacting with parkour that is your call but don't be unreasonable and say it doesn't feel connected....
