  • 🇨🇳 Chinese TF-1 gas mask produced under the GB 2890-1995 standard dated November of 2001 by an Unknown Manufacturer size 3. The TF-1 gas mask was developed in the 1960s as an improvement over the Type 66 gas mask, which features a clear valve assembly, whereas the TF-1 series utilizes a light grey or white plastic assembly. The kit for the TF-1 is the facepiece, carrier, various filters, a possible manual, and a white or black stockinette hose, though kits will differ between manufacturers. This mask, being a descendent of a direct clone of the Russian ShM-41M, makes the TF-1 quite a decent mask, though the quality, once again, differs between manufacturers. Mainly issued for industrial and civilian use, the Chinese PLA and Chinese Police did occasionally Field these masks, with the Type 66 also seeing such fielding. Interestingly, the lenses of the TF-1 are made larger than ShM masks to allow for better visibility. There are many manufacturers for the TF-1, which include but are not limited to TangFeng, TangShan, ShanDong, Shuangqiu, and Tangren. This mask is an export model TF-1, as seen by the English stamping on the cardboard box.
