Keynote: Increasing flexibility and diversity in higher education: Does quality assurance help or hinder?
Professor John Brennan, Emeritus Professor of Higher Education Research at the Open University and Visiting Professor at the University of Bath, The Open University presented this keynote. It seeks to explore what flexible learning allows students to do, drawing on the UK case study for a UNESCO international project on 'Flexible Learning Pathways in Higher Education' and other recent research on higher education's increased flexibility and diversity.
