I appreciate the sensitivity and care taken with the words, each one with meaning and feeling. The restrained simplicity of the orchestration and the unembellished yet beautiful voice perfectly allowed the hymn to be the focus of attention. Your rendering honoured the hymn writer FE Weatherly who was so clearly inspired to pen a lyrical “Pilgrim’s Progress” to the glory of God.
