Be so very careful about listening to this Bishop! I discovered him online about two years ago and last night I was received into full communion with the Catholic Church…
@@rustydahler4715 Welcome, Rusty!!! I, too, started listening to his channel about two years ago - although already a Catholic - he has enriched my faith.
This sermon touches my heart deeply. I love it when Bishop Barron talks about the mercy of God. I was a lost sheep living deep in sexual sins and was brought back through God's infinite love and mercy. This Bible verse resonated with me, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." I tasted Heaven after my profound conversion that brought so much joy into my heart. I went from a lukewarm Catholic with a 50% conviction of eternal life to 100%. I owed much of this firm faith to our Blessed Mother, who intervened at the darkest time in my life to save my marriage 15 years ago in Medjugorje. Faith is a gift from God. He did an amazing job in transforming my hardened heart.

I declined due to my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and heart disease. I’m on a bunch of medications including blood thinners. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth hospital. Since losing my job I’ve been struggling to make ends meet. I’m a single mother with two young autistic children. This month I’m facing homelessness. We have nowhere to go. Struggling daily to provide groceries. I’m so ashamed and embarrassed over my situation. I am so overwhelmed, it’s so hard on me. I am all alone no family nor friends to help me durning this time. Please keep me and my children in your prayers this easter. There is a view that the 'somebody's' (the priests, the nuns, the lay persons holding positions in the church) in the parish church community just do not care and ignore the poor. What the truth is, I do not know. God knows. But let me say that it amounts to INJUSTICE if the poor who are in need are not getting food and clothing from their parish church. Those in your parish church who have a voice should speak out and be a voice for the voiceless. They should make it known to the 'somebody's ' (and afterwards the other parishioners) that a widow and her two children are being neglected in the distribution of food. Also, the 'somebody's ' in the parish church community should see that parish church property, as far as it is possible for them, should be used as a shelter for parishioners who become homeless. [ NOTE: All parish church property including the church buildings are the common property of the parish church community, and the poor in the parish church have the first right on it. (The poor include priests and nuns who take vows /promises of poverty.) ]

I am sorry that you feel the need to write in such a way that it is hard to understand and yet serves to try and poison the minds who find, Bishop Barron, a light in a dark world. I am not new to Catholicism and his weekly homilies are on point with all that I have read, witnessed, pondered, prayed, and come to believe. I feel if you need to vent your, to me, erroneous and malicious beliefs, you do so to an audience that would care to read/listen to your esoteric and “unkind” statements meant to harm another person, and in fact many persons who enjoy the I will keep you in my prayers.

As so many others have rightfully said, thank you Bishop Barron for this homily. The deep longing of the human heart, yes even in it's profound hopelessness and depth of sorrow finds it's hope, love and faith in the life giving emptying sacrifice of Christ, culminating in His resurrection. Oh happy day! And for those who do not believe, our heartfelt prayers go out for "you" in His name.
Thank you, Bishop Barron! I'm a Christian Orthodox from Syria, and unfortunately still living there. When talking about God beating tyranny, fear, pain and death, it's extremely important to preach to people the idea that fearing others and the world in general is basically a sin; I'm not saying this as to scare people away from doing something but coming from the mentality that sins should be avoided for one's sake, i.e advice for the best life possible like "Don't covet thy neighbor" is good for you not for others nor God himself. Like John from the Warrior Poet channel said in one of his videos: "How dare you not to dare!" It is extremely terrifying to corrupt people in power, to have brave, truthful, and aiming-for-a-higher-good population; in contrast to the scared, shallow, anxious, selfish... that we have now a days and seem to be engineered to be precisely like that.
Thank you Bishop Baron for your devotion to our enlightenment and eternal salvation. Happy Easter!! He is risen!! We are abundantly blessed!! Praise be to you and your mission.
Thank you Bishop Barron, Happy Easter. You draw us into the wonder, and the amazement of the Resurrection of Christ. May peace and joy be renewed in our hearts. May our hope give us healing and confidence. Thanks be to God!

May the Living Lord empower you to bring many souls to Him, during this mighty harvest- the last of the Philadelphia Church... you're a blessing to many.
Thank you so much Bishop Barron. This Holy Week seemed very special to me, after our struggles with COVID and all the weariness we have experienced. I am so grateful for our faith. God bless you!
To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.- St. Thomas Aquinas (In the last 24 hours I personally experienced how true this is.) Spread the Good News throughout the Earth Jesus has died and is risen!!!!!
How do I explain a Beethoven symphony to a deaf man? Or a Picasso painting to a blind one?? Jesus said to Thomas "You believe because you can see me' Happy are those who have not seen and yet believe"
I’m reminded of Dickinson with this sermon: This World is not Conclusion This World is not Conclusion. A Species stands beyond - Invisible, as Music - But positive, as Sound - It beckons, and it baffles - Philosophy, dont know - And through a Riddle, at the last - Sagacity, must go - To guess it, puzzles scholars - To gain it, Men have borne Contempt of Generations And Crucifixion, shown - Faith slips - and laughs, and rallies - Blushes, if any see - Plucks at a twig of Evidence - And asks a Vane, the way - Much Gesture, from the Pulpit - Strong Hallelujahs roll - Narcotics cannot still the Tooth That nibbles at the soul -
Please pray for my 2 children Father, as they didn't wanna be a Chatolic anymore, didn' t wanna go to the Church, it's really a very sad situation to see the fact that they really leave all the Catholic tradition. 😭😭

I am a Catholic from Albania and wanted to extend my thank you for the way how you bring the word of our God throughout the world by all the inspiring video messages you have shared on this channel. They have accompanied me especially through this lent and they have been a blessing. Happy Easter!
PRAISE BE TO GOD & OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST! Keep preaching Bishop Barron and God bless you!
This homily remains relevant up-to now. Powerful and touches the mind and heart. Thank you Bishop Barron!
Thank God, Jesus certainly "rose from the dead". "Jesus is alive!"
Praise the Lord Alleluia!
Bishop Barron I had never heard the explanation you gave for why Catholics cross themselves. "The Father sending down the Son and the Holy Spirit gathering us in". Loved it.
Please pray for me and my children this passover. I’m ready to give up. But my faith in Jesus won’t let me. I lost my job as a social worker because I declined the vaccine. Even though I’m facing homelessness I still have FAITH God will provide!!!
Prayers for you!! Our risen Lord is with you, helping you...you are never alone!! You and your family are loved!! 🙏💒
Prayers for you and your two children. Please keep searching for help and may the Lord lead you to those offering generosity and assistance.
I promise to pray for you.
Just to let you know that this is almost certainly a spam message that has been widely copied across UA-cam over many months. It has generated a lot of sympathy and helpful advice however the post never changes.
How beautiful is the body of Christ, and that He called you to preach His word, not just with profound eloquence, but with deep passion, shared and received. Happy Easter🦋
@@oliverclark5604 Just breath you’ll be ok, and additionally try to keep it simple.
HAPPY EASTER BP.BARRON,CONTINUE YOUR MISSION GO GO GO MILLIONS OF PEOPLE THANKFUL & LISTENING TO HOMILY,& SOME PEOPLE RETURN TO THIER RELIGION AS CATHOLIC GOD BLESS ALWAYS ...
Amen. Save us, Saviour of the world, for by your cross and resurrection you have set us free.
One day, I hope to see and hear you speak, in person. In the meantime, I am so grateful you are on the internet.
“This” WORLD is NOT it!. I ❤️ it, Thank you Bishop Barron 😊
Thank you so much for speaking of such a beautiful things the definition of our Lord Jesus Christ
Muchas gracias por sus palabras. Son Luz en este mundo de oscuridad. Thanks again BB.

That'll never, never die'

Thank you for such a beautiful interpretation of this magnificent feast. I pray that many will hear your words and follow.
Bishop Barron you have touched so many souls and gratitude at its best is not enough. Thank you!🙏
I cannot describe how beautiful these sermons are. If Jesus didn’t resurrected, all Christian faith is in vain. But Jesus resurrected, so our faith is not in vain! Happy Easter everyone!
PEACE BE WITH YOU ALL ❤❤️❤️🙏🏻
Happy, Joyful Easter to you Bishop Barron and all peoples everywhere! Thank you!
Lord bless you, Bishop Barron... that was the most beautiful sermon I ever heard on the Resurrection.... The Holy Spirit blessed me through your words... May the Living Lord empower you to bring many souls to Him, during this mighty harvest- the last of the Philadelphia Church... you're a blessing to many.
I love your invitation, Bishop…”Listen, now”
Thank you so much Bishop Barron. This Holy Week seemed very special to me, after our struggles with COVID and all the weariness we have experienced. I am so grateful for our faith. God bless you!
So beautifully put, truly
To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.- St. Thomas Aquinas
(In the last 24 hours I personally experienced how true this is.)
Spread the Good News throughout the Earth Jesus has died and is risen!!!!!
How do I explain a Beethoven symphony to a deaf man?
Or a Picasso painting to a blind one??
Jesus said to Thomas "You believe because you can see me'
Happy are those who have not seen and yet believe"
I’m reminded of Dickinson with this sermon:
This World is not Conclusion
This World is not Conclusion.
A Species stands beyond -
Invisible, as Music -
But positive, as Sound -
It beckons, and it baffles -
Philosophy, dont know -
And through a Riddle, at the last -
Sagacity, must go -
To guess it, puzzles scholars -
To gain it, Men have borne
Contempt of Generations
And Crucifixion, shown -
Faith slips - and laughs, and rallies -
Blushes, if any see -
Plucks at a twig of Evidence -
And asks a Vane, the way -
Much Gesture, from the Pulpit -
Strong Hallelujahs roll -
Narcotics cannot still the Tooth
That nibbles at the soul -
Christ is Risen. God bless you, Bishop, and may God bless us all.
Please pray for my 2 children Father, as they didn't wanna be a Chatolic anymore, didn' t wanna go to the Church, it's really a very sad situation to see the fact that they really leave all the Catholic tradition. 😭😭

OUTSTANDING! The beauty of what Jesus Christ did for us undeserving sinners is beyond the beyond. That God love us so much. Thank you Bishop Barron. Especially for the hymn from Philippians. My Bible Study leader calls Philippians the LOVE book of the New Testament, and indeed they are love letters and massively appealing and compelling. Blessings to you and to the whole world on this blessed Easter Sunday!
