- Friends, a very blessed and happy Easter to you all! The Resurrection of Jesus is the be-all and the end-all of the Christian faith. If Jesus didn't rise from the dead, then all bishops, priests, and Christian ministers should go home and get honest jobs. If he did rise from the dead, then he's the full manifestation of God, and he must be the center of your life. In light of that, I'd like to look at three great lessons that follow from this strange and decisive truth of the Resurrection.

This sermon touches my heart deeply. I love it when Bishop Barron talks about the mercy of God. I was a lost sheep living deep in sexual sins and was brought back through God's infinite love and mercy. This Bible verse resonated with me, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." I tasted Heaven after my profound conversion that brought so much joy into my heart. I went from a lukewarm Catholic with a 50% conviction of eternal life to 100%. I owed much of this firm faith to our Blessed Mother, who intervened at the darkest time in my life to save my marriage 15 years ago in Medjugorje. Faith is a gift from God. He did an amazing job in transforming my hardened heart.

The entire point of Christianity summed up in the first 3 minutes of the video so artfully, yet bluntly articulated. Bishop Baron has prayed and listened to what the Holy Spirit wants him to say. Spoken as a true successor of the Apostles! “for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” Lk. 12:12

Just returned from an amazing Easter vigil mass. I was a god parent to a OCIA member. I could not be more proud of my faith.
To add a sharper point to the many other complementary comments concerning this Easter sermon, as an 82 year old who has been “churched” all my life this stands as the finest Resurrection explanation ever. Praise God for the gifts He has given Robert Barron. That said, I pray for his continuing humility.

COM 4 weeks later I kept on getting earnings and I started using the m0ney for G0ds wOrk. I am very popular in Maryland. Doing Gods work always give me joy. There is peace and joy in my mind. I am here to motivate you and tell you never to give up even though the situation seems so though, God has promised his children and he will surely d0 what he has promised his children.

Thank you, Bishop Barron. If I could give only one reason why I believe in the resurrection of Jesus and the eternal hope it provides, it is the "Acts"/actions of the apostles. They were poor, unlettered men, and there was absolutely NOTHING in it for them in telling the story except hardship and suffering and, for most, a tortuous earthly death. BUT. They couldn't NOT tell the story, regardless of the dangers to them personally! THAT'S how compelling Christ's resurrection was and IS. Thank you, Lord Jesus! He lives! ❤️ Happy Easter, all!

As so many others have rightfully said, thank you Bishop Barron for this homily.The deep longing of the human heart, yes even in it's profound hopelessness and depth of sorrow finds it's hope, love and faith in the life giving emptying sacrifice of Christ, culminating in His resurrection. Oh happy day! And for those who do not believe, our heartfelt prayers go out for "you" in His name.
Reading this after a packed Holy Week, getting ready this Easter morning to celebrate Holy Mass in our two churches. My feet hurt, my voice is hoarse, I feel a bit “ punch drunk”…but this preaching of the Resurrection is a tonic. Thank you Bishop Robert. May the saints protect you and may we all pray for you. I heard JPII sermon in Cracow in mid-70's during Corpus Cristi procession. We were all flabbergasted by his powerful and uncompromising words as he was speaking about freedom as one of the fundamental human rights.

Thank you, Bishop Barron! I'm a Christian Orthodox from Syria, and unfortunately still living there. When talking about God beating tyranny, fear, pain and death, it's extremely important to preach to people the idea that fearing others and the world in general is basically a sin; I'm not saying this as to scare people away from doing something but coming from the mentality that sins should be avoided for one's sake, i.e advice for the best life possible like "Don't covet thy neighbor" is good for you not for others nor God himself. Like John from the Warrior Poet channel said in one of his videos: "How dare you not to dare!" It is extremely terrifying to corrupt people in power, to have brave, truthful, and aiming-for-a-higher-good population; in contrast to the scared, shallow, anxious, selfish... that we have now a days and seem to be engineered to be precisely like that.
At our church we have a physician that spoke about Jesus's death and what he went through thank you Lord Jesus for all that you've done for us sinners myself and for the world repent and believe in the gospel Jesus died for us all but we must do right his will not ours

You are free to believe that is objectively moral for babies and children to suffer pain and death, I don't.
The fact that everyone suffers to differing degrees doesn't make the suffering of children right, neither does it alter the fact that the Jesus suffering is less than countless children.
I also make no excuse for being emotionally deeply upset by childhood suffering.

Respectfully, If Jesus had never risen from the dead, His teachings would still be the Truth. His commandment to Love One Another, would be just as crucial and pertinent. If you don't believe in the resurrection, believe in the truth of the message.

If everyone, all the baptized, fully knows, not merely by the senses, yet rather, an interior grace, that God sees all and knows the thoughts, actions and feelings of all, every moment of every day, how would lives be changed and be different? This is what constant prayer does. St. Paul said, pray without ceasing. How does Jesus know the will of God The Father unless he is constantly praying? Look to the Saints as examples of lives in constant prayer. See without the veil of all that obscures the sense that God is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. In a word, ubiquitous. Be infused with constant concern for doing the will of God and ask Him to know His will for you at each moment.
