Haha, yep pretty much. WHM was nice during progression for but parse runs everyone is taking SCH/AST for buffs because healing is irrelevant. Easiest healing tier ever. Just bring the buffs lets go.
you have to find a group of people that like doing old content i found my static by joining a coil group ,then we did Alex ,now this ,just make sure you arrive on time and play to the best of your ability then you wont lose your place

it's not very hard, it's a lot of little things to learn but you will eventually just get the timings down. Hard bosses aren't one day kills, it may take an FC a week of pulling to even see enrage but persevering through like 100+ wipes is how you down tough bosses. Just don't give up (having a good group helps too xD)

I hear ya there, but wether or not it is related isn't really important. For all we know the 24 man's could lead into the newest plot for the updates or next expansions. And everything gets grating when you do it once a week for 3 months XD No matter the game.
Loi Mac I used to do raids since a realm reborn coils, then Alexander but got tired of it because it needs dedication and there are other games I want to play , so from now I just dedicate my time to the extreme primals not , retired from savage stuff from now on :( but to be honest I love the primal fight more than raid stuff :) and the doggies haha
It's just remembering a lot of mechanics. As a healer, you really only need to pay attention to which set of debuffs you get out of 2 sets each time, that's not that hard, though I can see it taking some time to get down placement and healing while doing so. The White and Black debuff is just Sephirot but reversed. The other lasers are obvious whether they're in or out by the giant orb or two heads on the sides. There's a reason it resets to this guy after you've gotten to him and you have 120 minutes instead of the normal 90, take your time and practice, and be glad there's no divebombs.

Well, one big part is that you only have to remember the debuff combinations for your role, which narrows it down a lot. The debuffs are also different colors to make it easier, so something like Allagan Field is more obvious, while the stack debuff and petrify both have things on the character model itself that make it easy to see too, and the "survive a death" debuff has a kind of purple/red aura thing on people that have it too, so all you really need to check your debuffs for are the knockback, allagan field, and what color side you need to be on. It's just gonna be taking it in bit by bit like every other fight, and you have 120 minutes instead of 90 to do so before having to reset back to normal Exdeath.
I'm always confused how to handle off-balance (the knockback debuff) and the stack marker. Even if I'm on the edge of the marker it seems like I get flung into a random direction. idk this fight is kinda old but if anyone can tell me why I'm stupid I'd appreciate it lol
the stack marker needs to be on the opposite side to the boss ,the guys with knockback need to be just infront facing the right so they dont get blinded by the stack marker or player on the left ,if others dont do the mech right ,they can explode before the stack marker sending you in a weird direction
Mechanics are best done in the same manner, the main difference is you will be skipping Grand Cross Omega, and both black holes. ...just please, make sure people actually try to do the mechanics, you will still get slaughtered if you try to faceroll it.

pretty sure both tanks are using their reprisals nearly off cd, same for addle, and alot of tank damage is physical so you can use reprisal a good amount (tank stack, earthshakers, fistslams at end)

It is not about casuals. Even experienced player should have big troubles. Problem is, that it is unplayable if you are in random party, since you will not be synchronized for mechanics. But if you find good party/guild with healthly communication, then you will have no problem completing it, even if you are average player (I mean, I am average player :D ).

Most of damages come from another source, not the boss itself, which makes feint, reprisal and virus partially useless in the fight
