MY NEW KEY BUILD: www.wowhead.com/talent-calc/warrior/arms/DAPAURUVUEVVQQpFQVBBOVVBRUREJVSRVARDREQ This build takes 1 Bladestorm with Warlord's Torment. It does more steady damage throughout a key rather than juicing up your 1.5 mins + execute. With double Bladestorm, you lose too much single target for it to be worth running (in my opinion), whereas taking Warlord's Torment instead gives you extra damage on every warbreaker (roughly 20 seconds) while still having a powerful dps cooldown for larger packs, something the juggernaut build struggles with
Linking imports for talents would be awesome in the description. Thanks for making guide. And not with an epileptic intro or screaming. I also find that survivability as arms is much lower then fury. If you manage cds right as fury you dont need any external healing unless its big unavoidable dmg. Merry x-mas
Juggernaut build with Tier set makes Bladestorm extinct except for Waycrest Manor. It's spiteful this week so Juggenaut gets even more value to refresh stacks. Also, in the Jugger build you should drop the TR cooldown reduction for the 5% crit damage. It sims and performs better. I havne't had issues surviving on higher keys 24-26+ but we run an AUG.
I run Juggernaut in every key but Bladestorm definitely isn’t extinct if that’s what you prefer. Just look at Biz (r1 Arms currently) who runs BS religiously. As for 1min roar vs a 2nd point in cruel strikes, for me they sim within
Hey, have you tried the WW build with Fervor and Collateral Damage and how do you think it compares to the BS build for fort keys? I saw a couple pug arms running it last week and saw Critcake mentions the build in his arms talents list as a build. I messed around with it a bit last week and was curious your thoughts on if its more or less viable than BS on heavy AoE weeks, thanks!
The Fervor build was what we were initially planning to be playing this season, but as the weeks go by it seems to have fallen off. It's close enough to where you can play it if that's the build you enjoy and you aren't pushing top level keys, but it just doesn't really compare to Bladestorm in AoE or Juggernaut on prio targets so it's tough to say what benefit (if any) it would provide to play this over one of the other builds
you can! Assuming you're asking about the juggernaut build, sometimes I'll drop 1 cruel strikes for short roar :) but a new-ish key build has been floating around that I will make a pinned comment about as well
Hey, thanks for the short guide, nice to still have guides that aren't 35min long. I have some questions tho: We all complain about survivability but we should consider going back to IP. I know it does less than FbV and it doesn't count offensively but ER on the Fury side doesn't either. Does FbV much better when rend is on 2 targets ? I mean it's nice when rend is on a big pack of 10 mobs but when it happens, realisticaly, it's when you go in a pack, healer and aug have CDs and so FbV isn't doing much if you are already at 100% health. And last FbV can't heal you if you get one shoted, where IP can take a 500K+ hit and paired with def stance or def stance and pary, you good to go. I went back on IP and I feel much better and safer. And just for the ST opener, why we don't go WW 1st global after CS ? This way we can use 2 in the ToM window and you're guaranteed at least 16% strength ? Would love to have your thoughts on this ! Thanks ! :)
If you like Ignore Pain and feel like you're using it optimally, it's definitely viable! The reason I don't recommend it is because people typically won't use their offensive resources defensively, and you'd be wasting that talent point whereas you could just have the passive FBV. In single target, if you're at the level of haste you should be at, you can fit 2 whirlwinds into your Colossus Smash with like 3 globals to spare. And even then, it's not that big of a deal to spend rage elsewhere. The only time you're going to get 2 WWs in CS guaranteed is the opener. If you're holding WW for an upcoming CS later in the fight, it's actually a damage loss compared to playing the rotation normally and just pressing it if it's up. It's better to keep MS on cd to the best of your ability :)
