I’m so grateful they returned! Two amazing actresses. The fact Ms. Holloman came out of retirement to reprise her role of Tina, the fact that Ms. Beals fought so hard with others to bring back the L word, so much respect and love for them. Words do not express how amazing they performed these roles. ❤️🙏🏻
Jennifer and Laurel's commitment to these characters and this story was incredibly beautiful. I love that about these two. The show is just different without the hope of a couple who are truly committed to one another.

It's not "incredible", at this point it's sheer magic! Doing what they did with what they've been given is impressive, Showtime and MLR's team of revolting scribes were beyond blessed to have returning lesbian royalty on this show... That was a free and global lesson in "what not to do when you write for existing characters and fanbase" (and lbr, writing at all, it's been long since I've seen that bad of a writing for every single character) and even these two brilliant leading ladies and sporadic OG cast members presence couldn't balance out the *abysmal* quality of whatever this reboot has been.
Thank you! Tina held Bette to v a higher standard than she held herself. Tina forgot she cheated to get with Bette. Talk about no chemistry. They had it at on time but it's gone. That love scene was corn starch dry sprinkled with baby powder dust.
