Just got around to watching and once again, was not disappointed! Sometimes short trips turn out to be the best adventures. Great video as always, my friend!
Great video! While at BSU We used to drive through the Owyhee range on our way back to Call. We were to you g and dumb to appreciate their beauty. Definitely going to visit in October. Keep up the excellent work. Go Broncos!
You probably were driving through Jordan Valley/Winnemuca? That area is like Adventure City for us! Sooo much to explore out there. Thank you for watching and commenting. Go Broncos!!!
wow that secret spot is beautiful. I enjoy watching the dynamic of your group, and also how you and your spouse interact with one another. keep up the great work, can't wait for your bdr video
Thank you!!! You should see it now...burnt to a crisp by the sun...still beautiful, but to catch it green was very cool. Need to get up your way to see some real green lol.
The Owhyee is one of my bucket list places to see. I have always envisioned the deep river gorges but damn you found one heck of a beautiful area! Great video! 👍
They are sooo huge…there’s like 10 million acres between Idaho Oregon and Nevada…there’s so much to see out there. Come on out, and I’ll show you around! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.
The thing about Oregon there’s so much and bliss to have all types of terrain from ocean to high mountains from desert to snow what ever you’re looking for Oregon has it .
Love your videos and story telling. You are excellent at what you do. I have always wanted to visit the Owyhees. But I have a 98 chevy 1500 with open diff. It does have a 4 inch lift and 34's but do I need a jeep or shorter wheel base rig and lockers to make it out there? Or to make it out to any of the other places you take your jeep on your channel?
Thank you Jose!! I think you could visit the Owyhees in that rig depending on where you go. There are plenty of trails that are not super technical. Really appreciate you taking the time to comment!!
I've been bird hunting near Succor Creek a number of times. Beautiful area. When our wives came we would bring Cruise America motorhomes to the Succor Creek campground. Great video!
Very cool. What I like about Succor Creek is that you don't need a built rig if you want to drive in on the main road..motor homes and mini vans can all make the drive for the most part. Really appreciate you watching and leaving a comment!
@@Venture2Roam My BIL has been going there for about 40 years hunting Chukkar. His son found a book on Ebay written by a lady, Ida Dutcher, who homesteaded the area in the early 1900s. Her cabin was on the east side of the stream just south of the bridge in the campground near the big rock. There is a low area where her root cellar used to be. In the book she mentions rattle snakes and coyotes a lot. Her family stayed there in part to get away from the Spanish Flu in 1918. Interesting read if you can find a copy.
Lol. It was a little intense go me too. But each video kind of becomes it’s own thing, so I just went with it lol. Thanks for taking the time to watch, and I appreciate your comment!!
Thanks Tom! Honestly, it wasn't bad at all...just for about 20-30 mins after the sun went down...then it calmed down...that spot could get very windy though, in which case I'd either leave, or make sure the hardshell of my tent is facing the wind.
I've watched a few of your vids, but this is the one that made me hit that subscribe button. Your thoughts about enjoying our brief time here on this planet mirror exactly how I think and what drives me to experience the outdoors the way we do.
This is the shortest adventure I think we've ever had...and it was worth every second. For more V2R vids: ua-cam.com/users/venture2roam

Thank you sir. Can't wait to share our trip to Bend coming out next week!
I need that grate for my pop up fire pit. Epic views and another great video.
We have used that grate a ton. I think Chris got it on Amazon, or Walmart…it’s nothing fancy, but does a great job!
Some of the best trips are the short spur of the moment ones. 👏
So true. Although I can’t wait to share some our bigger/longer trips too!
@@Venture2Roam can’t wait to see the video from your longer trip of recent.
Another great vid Will!
Thanks Christoff!!!!

Watching with envy inside 4 walls in the 9 to 5... I wish we had such big stretches of land on our island.
I know that feeling. Hope you find a way to get out soon! Thanks for watching and commenting!!!
That intro though! Great video! 👏👏👏
LOL. Thanks Grant, much appreciated!
One of my favorite areas. I always go in the bottom with my truck. And Sans Basin is way underrated.
And it's not that pretty and green after burning this summer.
So glad to hear someone else enjoys that area. Really sad about the burn...but makes me happy we saw it green! Thank you so much for watching!!!
Definitely a story teller, keep it up!
Thank you! It was fun chatting with you a bit during the premier. Appreciate it!!!!

What's the name of the book???
It was a little intense narration for me.. but to each their own. Some really good shots, looks beautiful.

The prairie scene in green had music like a sanctuary which it is.
