oceankat8 Pearls are made of salt and Pearl in the show is salty. As she is like 95% salt personality-wise and physically she would disintegrate and die.

No pearls are mafe when ANY object gets stuck in an oyster's mouth irritating them and since they can't spit it out, them make a protective coating around it forming the pearl.
Plus Salt doesn't melt. It slowly mixes with bits of water and over time becomes warn down from it.

I think it's more likely that our pearl was a mother to *them* just based on how she acted around pink diamond and Steven she has a lot of... Maternal behaviours that don't seem typical of gems outside of the diamonds

OMG! This is absolutly amazing!!! I've whatched this like five times, and I keep loving it! Could you please make another animation like this, but including White Pearl? I know you left a empty spot in the music box for her, and I found that quite misterious, like it's missing another piece of the story besides this one. It made me ask: "Where is White Pearl, and why isn't she in the box, singing, dancing, and crying with the other Pearls?"
