Thank you such a great video! It gives me a much deeper understanding of the Art Nouveau architecture in all its diversity in the Danube region, from the decoration of the building facade, to the change in the shape and structure of the facade and even interior in line with the Art Nouveau motif, and from the relatively restrained style in Vienna to the more expressive one with national characters in the cities Hungary. The video makes me want to visit the places it has shown, and I definitely will. Thank you!
definitely a feast for the eyes but i have to wonder out loud why does the narrator pronounce the word motif incorrectly. English has two words -- motif (from the French) and motive (which is a horse of a different color, folks!) Architecture has motifs, rarely -- if ever!!! -- motives. Let's keep motives inside the minds of individuals, not within the wall or facades of buildings.
Wish they created a special Art Nouveau travel tours for Art enthusiasts & lover's

Hungarian secession looks more colourful and bright than Viennese one. But both are amazing!
I felt the same way. I sent this to my Hungarian American friend 😄
Spectacular 🎉 to see what humans can achieve with a modicum of freedom and money
It is the mixture of the beautiful and the ugly.
I wouldn't mind to see Art Nouveau making a return to enrich our cities.
Thank you so much for this documentaty sir❤❤
Fabulous, thank you so much
No one calls Art Nouveau 'modern style, in Great Britain', we use the French term. (ALL of us)

I prefer the English and Scottish style , more restrained than some European styles.
