AMDKJ is short hand for amidakuji which means ghost leg lottery. Its a type of paper game for selecting things within a group of people. example say you have 4 people and for different bedrooms in a vacation home and no one can agree on which room they each get. In this case you would write each name of the person along the top of a sheet of paper and each room along the bottom which a line drawn from each name to the room written below it. Each person that gets the option to draw a line between and two neighboring lines. Once that is done each person starts with there name and traces down and along any cross line they come across till they reach the bottom and that would be in this case them room they get.
Thank you for doing Scandal. Please do more Scandal songs! Tomomi is on Bass. And she always love dancing while playing bass. And all four members do sing and wait until you hear Tomomi and Rina vocals range. And if you want to hear all four singing then do “Playboy”. But I would do “Scandal Baby”
SCANDAL is an OG rock band. They been around since like 2006. They are the first JROCK band ive ever heard from back in the day! Theyve been doing international tours since like 2008 or something? Such a good band!
They were formed at 2006 and I found them in 2008 or 2009 via an anime channel on my cable TV back then. The drummer was technically still an underage at that time. Never in my wildest dream that they are still together after 15 years and still going strong, even established their own label three years ago.
As this song shows, SCANDAL can rock hard if they want to, but they switch genres so often and effortlessly they don't always get a lot of love from hard-rock fans. You can listen to any of their songs from the past five years and not come across two songs that sound alike, so about the only way to describe their "sound" is they write strong melodies, their arrangements are always clean and quirky, their playing is competent but not flashy, and their live versions are almost always better than the recordings. The vocalist almost lost her voice in 2011 and had to relearn how to sing at a higher pitch with less power, but she makes the most of what she's got and is continually learning how to be more expressive. Considering they just celebrated their 15th year together, they're still very young (33, 31,31 and 30) and still churning out quality tunes. All four girls have MULTIPLE lyric credits on top-15 songs. P.S. - The black leathers are from high-end clothier Ground-Y who the band has collaborated with since 2018.
I like Japanese popular music because it is fun, and oftentimes happy (mixed with rock). Babymetal is fun, and Scandal is another band that is quite fun (especially other songs). Sabaton is fun, but in a different way. :-)
ポップロックもいいよね! This band is like sisters who have grown up while worrying about various things. They also created an opportunity for young Japanese girls to feel free to hold an instrument.
Amazing wealth of knowledge in the comments :) Found them in '07 on a Japanese rock website that had clips from up and coming bands. Mostly their street performances. They've come so far from their high school uniformed band days :)
Japan has surprisingly a lot of all female bands and very diverse. Scandal started as a punk pop/power pop band, but have expanded their sound greatly over the years. I would recommend "Shojo S" as an example of their early sound. Definitely please react to more Scandal. I would also like to recommend one of my other favorite Japanese bands, Akai Koen (赤い公園). Please consider reacting to them as well. Akai Koen - Zettai Reido ua-cam.com/video/B7HeN3JO9OI/v-deo.html
The only "major influence" that any of the members has talked are Flea for Tomomi and (are you ready?) the Jonas Brothers for Haruna. All three guitarists, Mami, Haruna, and Tomomi are self-taught, so their major influences may be themselves. LOL
Scandal is really popular in Japan, they have a long career behind them. They starts as a groups of friends studing together in a singing academy, their teacher suggest them to learn and play some instrument. They do it, stars playing in streets and parks and... you can see them now. They starts so young that the drummer was still in High School. Just check (no react, the quality is very poor) this video ua-cam.com/video/nvnwr7qutTw/v-deo.html If from the times they starts singing in parks and they don´t even have a record label. They were very young
SCANDAL are legendary now, celebrating their 15th anniversary this year. One of the greatest rockbands from Japan and my big love :)

First popularized to the West by HTT in the anime movie, K-ON!, where Yui cheats to win and go see "Europe"
This was/is how they made decisions as friends on things they couldn’t agree on.
The legend girls band!
